The water is murky but yet full of hard, resilient life; the scent of salt mingles the air creating a perfume that makes Callum strangely hungry. He munches on some jerky while looking through the rock piles.

Iblis tensed up, eyes on the lookout behind the calcified ridges and pock-marked plains. Picking her way through, there were several bits of junk and discarded material. A severed claw. A bloody scrap. It was not called the Boneyard for nothing. Up ahead, the Gaoler could make out the pustule-ridden mountain that was Rotrock Rim. It protruded from the ground, harsh walls to the arena of the Wyrmwound. It would be several days before reaching those sanctioned battlegrounds. Iblis sniffed, tasting the air for scent. Tradition dictated that the Tribe’s strongest warrior would cross the Abiding Boneyard, fighting off rivals for the honor of partaking in the trials of the Plaguebringer. She was no champion, but on these days leading up to the Riot, the time of triumph of their god, perhaps she could interrogate some would-be pilgrim for information…

@SirLeafheart LOL Glad you like Callum! If you fold up the edges it could make a great cone of shame.

Arrerun watched the mirror, the tip of her tail twitching. "Cross me once, shame on me. Cross me twice, shame on you. Cross me twice, face the Plaguebringer's wrath," said Arrerun after taking the Halo. The Nochnyr seemed really displeased by the mirror's threat.

"What good does knowing generally where they were headed do me? I know they weren't coming here. The only other direction they would have gone is towards the Windswept Plateau, but for all I know they stopped at the edge to wait for me, or pushed on to the center. I can't give you specifics, so what good is that?" He hated when he got lost and someone asked him where he came from. He never knew how to explain what his home looked like. It was just home, on a mountain, like any mountain. How would anyone know which mountain he meant? And now he didn't even have that. Home was gone. He was standing somewhere that was really starting to frighten him, with a skydancer that was doing the same, and he couldn't even explain where he'd come from, or where he was trying to go. "I just want to go home."

[i]Optional for RPers[/i]: [b]I will be moving my map marker again today for the purpose of RP[/b]: Yes/[b]No[/b] [b]My RP post[/b]: Diamond treks through the Abiding Boneyard, now deciding to map out the place for future explorers (and secretly hoping to find Claw again). On his travels he comes across some strangely-shaped rocks and bones, sometimes with rotting flesh still on them. Though he has learned much about the Plague lands by now, he can't help but to still feel a little disgusted by the rotting meat.
