Since I've gotten a bit bored of my current lair and my position in game, I've been wanting to restart completely. But since having multiple accounts is not allowed and its kind of tedious and expensive (If you wish to change your name and your flight) to get as close as possible to restarting, I feel like there should be a wipe account button.

Honestly? I feel that, and support it. Like a button that strips your lair of everything, dragons, everything in hoard and vault, progens, flight, and name would be better than ppl potentially having a whole new acount to do the same thing.

As far as I remember you can ask staff to lock your account which would allow you to make a new one.

Don't get your hopes up. IIRC, asking to have your current account locked so you can start fresh is typically denied.
Absolute support, though! Especially if it came with choosing a new flight and making new progens. [emoji=mirror love size=1] Not that I'd leave Plague, but I would like to have fresh progens that aren't so overbred.

@Ogerpon Can I ask why? It's a completely new account where you'd have to build everything up again. Progens also can't be sold/traded so even if someone were to get a XXX Obsidian or something absurd it wouldn't really matter at the end of the day.
As for the suggestion 100% support it. If someone wants to completely start over they should be able to.

Because it just makes progens feel like every single dragon. Disposable. Replacable.

I think that every site on the internet wherein users need to have an account should have a mechanic that allows account deletion. It should, ofc, be properly guarded by at least two "Are you sure?" warning cards as well as a very thorough explanation that account deletion cannot be reversed, and the choice should be password protected.
Some folks request a sort of grace period, two weeks or so, wherein you can change your mind and reactivate the account by logging in. I'm personally ambivalent on that.
All dragons in the account would be auto-exalted, all items poofed into the aether.
A player would then be free to start a fresh account from scratch without breaking ToS. Though, it can be said that Staff don't really ban accounts for multi-accounting anymore on account of being a little too fast about it in the early days and accidentally banning family members who were sending gifts to each other while on the same IP address. Which is a good thing! You shouldn't ban people for suspected ToS violations, only violations you can thoroughly prove.
Personally I can't imagine trying to run two FR accounts. This site is not structured in such a way that an extra account is worth the effort, except maybe as just lair space? But having to log in and out sounds like such a pain.
