A friend of mine joined when it first opened and asked me to join too. I remember wishing I'd taken up the offer immediately instead of waiting a few days, heh. I guess it didn't really make much of a difference, though.

I may or may not have been mildly obsessed with Undel's work for a really long time. Her how to draw books were like my version of the Bible.

I stalked discovered Undel on DA and then she started posting those amusing vandalized bestiary pages. So I bookmarked the URL first (so I wouldn't forget when registrations opened). That was back when they were running the beta test and kickstarter :3

I have no idea how I got roped into the site... I think it may have been through an RP friend who had joined initially, and I thought, "Oh cool, DRAGONS!" and signed up in July, 2013.
Bummed that I missed the Kickstarter, although I wouldn't have been able to contribute anyway since they don't use paypal.
