Flight Rising Discussion

I'm assuming most of us don't part with our Eliminates and such, but what else are you unwilling to hand over? Do you keep everything, in case it has another use someday? Do you mostly give her what she wants, if you don't suspect it's valuable otherwise or you know you have multiples? Do you open the game database to check on the item she wants first? Inquiring minds want to know!

I refuse to give her any apparel or familiars. I'll give her most battle stones except for the brewed variants, Elims, Berserks, or Ambushes. She asks for the elemental attacks and fragments a lot - and I don't use many of those so she is more than welcome to take them off my hands.

I won't give her high point food items or anything I know I'll need for Swipp/Baldwin - but most trinket and material items are fair game.

Apparel: only things I know I have loads of and never use. Also the paper masques, which have a weirdly high hoardsell value and last time I checked the LAH was lower than Crim.

Familiars: Mire and Ghostlight fams only.

Food: only items I know aren't needed for other things

Battlestones: fragments and elemental attack stones. Regenerate/Reflect/Ward/Bolster only at NoTN. Ambush/Berserker/Haste/Rally/Eliminate only if she pries them from my cold dead fingers.

also idk why the heck she doesn't ask for elemental bolt and slash stones? They have a hoardsell price! They should be in her item pool!

Unless its a fest or event where i get currency other than just the treasure - nothing i ignore her xD I already got the achievement for so many trades with her, she can keep her paws off my valuables now :P

I have more fams/spare apparel than I will ever be able to break down, even with my cauldron always running and hoard selling extras. I'll check the value/use of items occasionally but most items I'm able to get again, so it doesn't really concern me.

I have a hoard tab open at all times and I check the item before I give it to her. And I only give her materials/trinkets that are used in no features, and sometimes the occasional Hibden item that I already have more than enough of. Except during NotN. Then she gets everything (that’s not completely ridiculous).

She only gets stuff from me during NotN, so I'm a lot more willing to sacrifice battle stones, apparel, or familiars when I'm getting the chance for a strange chest from it. I never trade her my couple of hoarded items and nothing super valuable, though if she asks for an expensive familiar/piece of apparel, it usually encourages me to go list one on the AH if I have spares.

I check everything in the hoard and possibly game database/AH (unless I know it's something useless). This is a pain so I rarely do Crim unless I have a pursuit.

Examples:

- If it's a trinket/food item and I have less than 20 of it, I'm keeping it, even if useless.
- If it's a hibden item and I have like 200 of it, I'll give it to her. I figure it can't be that valuable if I have that much of it.
- If it's a Swipp item, I will check the associated Swipp trade to see (1) whether it's an item I might personally want, (2) the price of the item, and (3) the quantity required. Swipp sometimes requires items in bulk, so having 200+ of a Swipp item for personal use is often perfectly reasonable.
