[center]Hello everyone! So I got super lucky and hatched two very pretty babies from my dusthide eggs (though, I sold one, since she didn’t fit my lair), and this was my keeper!

He’s a super funky double, but with a skin that’s getting printed, he’s just… an absolute stunner.
Problem is, I’m stuck between two genes!

Pros:
- my initial gene choice
- matches the light and dark bits of Spores
- sparkly
Cons:
- expensive :(

- cheap, can brew it myself
- the darker color lets the skin shine
Cons:
- weird weighting from dark to light
- don’t know if I like it as much as Lode, but it’s comparable enough that I’m debating if the money is worth it

I think lode would be the better option. It fits better with the skin, and the blue bits peeking through add a really nice touch.
Imo, it'd be worth the wait to save up the extra amount and get Lode.
The narrow swishes of color are more cohesive with the draping fabric than the misshapen circles of Orb. Lode is also a lot more understated, so the details in the skin draw the eye. With Orb, the skin and the wing pattern are fighting for attention.

Lode! (I didn't know that lode was a gem gene before reading this post oop) I feel like the spots on orb break up the flow of the design too much.
