I prefer g1s, so not really, but... I don't see why not when working with g2+ dragons.
There are basically infinite g2+ imps, why care if one becomes another breed? The important part is getting the dragon on the breed that makes you happy.

Sure! I love nocs. I breedchange a lot of dragons into nocs.. no breed is off-limits.

this guy got a wildclaw scroll! i was debating whether or not to keep him and when i scried him as a wildclaw i went yup. he’s mine. i incorporated it into his lore too
i really don’t see anything wrong with it (unless it’s someone elses dragon ofc), i think the lore potential of breed changes in general is very fun

I haven't, only because the "opportunity' never occurs. I generally shop for how a dragon looks at that moment and make little plans to change it
but like others if I need a very specific dragon and the only one being sold is an imp, than so be it

Since I've become hopelessly addicted to Auraboas, no breed is safe. I actually just breed changed an Imp into an Auraboa, she's now my Ice flight rep. ^^

If I somehow got my hands on a G1 Imp I wouldn't, but G2+ dragons are free game as far as I'm concerned. I usually get dragons because they match the colors of scries I want, and not much will stop me from getting that perfect scry, even if the scry is a Pearlcatcher and I have to change a gem breed or an Imp to get them.

Yes. If I bought a dragon for specific colors, either for a project or as a breeding pair, I'm going to turn them into a breed that's appropriate for that project or if they're a project pair, something with a short cooldown.

She's based off of a dnd character I didn't get to play much but I loved quiet a bit. I'm still proud of her depth, even if we only got to lvl 2 before that campaign died... :/ it be how it be. The group didn't mesh well, so what're you gonna do?

I'm always a little wary about it though because I'll never be able to change them back. I won't change my own dragons if I've had them as imps for years for that reason.
