This was his moment!! His bracelet lit up, and Orange grinned, letting out a chirping cry before launching out of the saddle, wings spread wide. His days of harsh training came back to him now- after all, he [i]was[/i] level 25! He was a formidable warrior! And now he was going to [i]show it![/i] Sharp eyes searched out eye color, traces of elemental magic, anything that would discern flights- and color [i]exploded[/i] around him as he swooped past them all, reflecting off the tiles below and marking the path for his teammates to follow along. His flight was buffeted a couple of times, but he held on through until the colors started to fade, and he cried out in victory before fluttering back down to join his team, this time settling down in the saddle of the Wildclaw, Atticus. A quick glance ahead, then behind, and Orange grinned when he realized he'd led them right into first, doing a happy dance in the saddle before settling back in, holding on tight and spreading his wings to feel the rushing wind as they all ran along.

Not. “Aw crap— Doc, we gotta, uh, Chu, you too— we gotta go!” Deimos yells, launching into the air as fast as his wings will carry him. “C’mon!” Tabby can deal with however many tiles he left there. He’s pretty damn sure not getting sidetracked by an overly playful slimepuppy of a dragon is [i]way more important[/i] right now. And by way more important, he means his team better get up and [i]haul their butts outta there.[/i] Oh crap that aberration is far faster than he expected. Far faster than is good for his [i]health[/i], by the ‘Bringer. C’mon c’mon c’mon [i]let’s go.[/i]

Which Doc kind of has to scoff at, since [i]sabotage[/i] is very clearly allowed. Not that it matters; they're making great progress, barreling through teams and forcing their way forward. Doc's kind of enjoying this. Maybe he should go out in the field more often himself. Except- the fae at which Deimos had been aiming yells something at the approximation of an aberration on their team. And the aberration gets very excited. And starts barreling towards them. Oh [i]no[/i]. "Aw crap- Doc, we gotta, uh, Chu, you too- we gotta go!" Deimos flies into the air, trying to escape, a frantic look on his face. "C’mon!" Doc twists his head to assess the situation- maybe they can turn this around- but by the 'Bringer, that aberration is [i]fast[/i]. Faster than any slimey, sludge-y, gooey creature has any right to be, and- While Chu twists out of the way relatively easily, Doc has to pivot [i]hard[/i] in order to not be used as a stepping stool by the dripping aberration trying to get to Deimos. He skids across the tiles as he tries to get a grip with his claws, but quickly gives up in favor of flapping his wings, taking off into the air. Dammit- now he's missed a bunch of tiles, and while he's quick to dive back down, landing on what he thinks are the right tiles, he looks up to see Deimos sputtering as he tries to avoid the slimey aberration. "God [i]dammit[/i], Deimos," he yells, trying to calculate how much time this is going to cost them. Everyone around them is taking advantage of the distraction, and Chu- of course- lands next to him, twisting together a flower crown, back off in their own world. Oh, this is going [i]nowhere[/i]. Doc's got half a mind to leave Deimos to deal with it, but that'd be [i]another[/i] teammate who'd need to catch up later, and while he's sure Deimos can deal with it, who's to say that he'll deal with it in a timely manner? Well, he'd hoped it didn't come to this... but they [i]did[/i] say sabotage was allowed. And this isn't his natural magic, so... Reaching into his jacket, Doc pulls out a small cylindrically shaped object. "Chu," he says, reaching our for her and pressing her claws into his mane, "close your eyes." He doesn't wait for Chu to confirm, quickly pulling out the pin for the weaker-than-usual flashbang he'd had Sanford prepare for him- thank you Sanford- and tossing it in the direction of Deimos and the aberration. "[i]Deimos, flash[/i]!" And just as quickly, he turns away as to not get caught in his own flashbang. [i]Dodge[/i] that, [i]dolts.[/i]

Chu sang quietly as she worked on the flower crown, beating her wings in rhythm to her song and work. Their obelisk and nocturne teammates were yelling, yelling—they leaped into the air! then fell down again—and Chu wove the noises into their song, bobbing along. Then Doc's claws caught hers, hauling her up off the tiles to cling to his mane. What! What! She nearly dropped her crown! But they saw him hurl his [i]deimosflash[/i] and the thrill of the movement ran a joyful [i]scree[/i]! up their chest. Chu moved with him, twisting as he did, and tossed her own gift to the opposing team. The flower crown sailed through the air, loose petals fluttering free in lazy spins, and Chu saw it settle on a head of goopy green aberration a second before— [i]FLASH![/i] Dazzled and dizzied, Chu swung back around, glad now for their grip in the obelisk's curls, and they hid their face from the blinding light. They mumbled a pleased little song to themself as they waited for their vision to clear, content enough to ride Doc until impatience scratched at them. What joy! What fun!

Baluster gains a good chunk of tiles while Frame continues to fall behind! > A new attack comes from the middle of the pack! [b]Team Arch[/b] again calls upon [b]Titus to go Spear Fishing,[/b] which spells trouble for [b]Baluster, Crenellation and Frame[/b]. [b]Crenelation[/b], being swapped the lowest common denominator, [b]takes the biggest hit[/b] as tiny spears bombard them from all angles! > But the carnage isn't over yet! Bumblebee been in the middle of watching an Obelisk racing and/or wrestling with a Spiral when he felt Zim, who had previously been thrown off (whoops), leap back onto his head while spitting some [i]interesting[/i] insults. “Dude, what the heck are you t—” His question was cut off when the Fae [i]jerked[/i] his head up using his horns like some sort of method to control him. A ball of magic subsequently hit him in the jaw, leaving Bumblebee reeling for several moments. Once he could think properly again, he wasn’t very happy with his teammate. “What the hell, man!? That wasn’t cool!” He complained. Bumblebee tossed his head back to dislodge Zim from his little perch between his horns. No more rides from [i]this[/i] Spiral.
