there r very few genes i cant stand but i dont understand the appeal of candy/icing for aethers. its more bewildering to me that i have seen them used at all than anything else

I love starmap/constellation, but I can see how it might not appeal to everyone. For me it is gembond, capsule, and poison. Gembond just reminds me of some sort of skin growths. Capsule is too unrealistic for me. I mean, surely dragons have internal organs, right? Maybe it's because I'm a nurse that these genes are ruined for me. I think poison and toxin can look really good if done right, but trying to breed with them is just a massive headache.

I was gonna say I had no genes I had problems with, but I have since been reminded that candy/icing exists from this post. Truly I cannot figure out how people like it

Because I think it's hard to get a good result breeding dragons with smoke unless you plan it meticulously and I like spontaneity

Polypore looks so... fake? I love the idea but it just doesn't mesh with the abbs lineart at all and barely looks like it's even attached to the dragon. The lack of shading really bothers me haha
