Introduction:

Pick a dragon to represent your exploration and tell us a little about you, your clan, or your dragon.
This is Breeze, he's just breezing by to see what's going on and to let you know that he may look like a wind boy, and he may have a Wind rep for a partner, but actually, he's a good ol' Nature boy.

1. Something colorful
You say colourful, I am always gonna think of the dice in the game Sagrada:
2. Something decorated
My besties decorated pottery hedgehog pencil holder!
3. Festive Decoration
A few years ago, since I wasn't hosting Christmas I couldn't be bothered decorating a tree, but then felt bad about that so I created my own tree of decorations... and then discovered that I really can't store it in any way other than from a hook on a wall...
4. A harpy-inspired piece of art or written record
I saw this and was sure I had a book with the title Harpy something, but after roaming the house looking at all my bookcases, I couldn't see what it was, but did have a twinge when I saw some Piers Anthony books. Sure enough, Harpy Thyme is one of his Xanth novels, but it must be one that got eaten by termites in my parents garage a few years ago... still, here's my photo, I hope a photo of an online image still counts...

5. bird
Honestly, I had a different photo for a bird, and also one of a mask, so this 'tapestry' photo was just a bit of a quick snap without thought I'd actually use it. But I like it as my Bird photo, so hopefully that tiny little ID card is good enough. If not, I can change it, but my besties work deserved a spot!
6. feather
I was at my neighbour's place (knew they had some of the stuff on this list!) and noticed they had a collection of feathers - the main three here are from a Red Tailed Black Cockatoo, a classic Western Australian bird
7. egg or nest
Again, kudos to my bestie for saving this willy wag tail nest!
8. claw
I was gonna use the cover of the book Nervernight by Jay Kristoff for this (it's got a crow with it's legs extended. But then I saw this little cutie at my besties place and couldn't resist
9. hair adornment
Was looking for the beads for No. 19 and found this - that'll do, even if I can't remember the last time I wore it!

10. baked good
I had a go at making my banana choc chip loaf recipe as cupcakes in my new air fryer.... and then got so distracted by the taste testing that I almost forgot to take a photo for this!! For the record, I got really worried that the tops got browned, but the middle wasn't cooked and kinda mushed them up a bit to expose the centres... so they don't look very good...
11. vegetable
A terrible photo of the baked potato (with butter, pressed tongue, mum made fig & tomato chutney and cheese, with a side of sour cream), I had for lunch yesterday looking a loss less appetising than it actually was! May need to try something different for dinner tonight... we'll see
12. prepared dish
A risoni (aka orzo) dish I prepared earlier this week. Again, tastier than it looks!
13. seasoning or garnish
All the seasonings!!! Possibly the favourite Christmas present from my brother ever. I wanted a spice rack so he said he'd make one for me, in the style our grandfather would have done. Which confused me cos he wasn't much for carpentry - at least not the joinery sort. More the chainsaw to a log to create a stump chair. And he kept asking how many spices I had, in what sized jars! When I got it, I finally understood, and I love it.
PS Ever notice how many spices start with the letter C?!
14. serving dish
A serving dish that my bestie gave me years ago... it's so pretty! Great for filling with chunks of warm Turkish bread to go with some of my warm dip recipes, like artichoke or spinach.
15. kettle
I got this beautiful copper accented kettle to go with my beautiful coppery splashbacks... but apparently put it too close to my hob and the plastic melted. So now I have to use a ugly old white plastic kettle. I still use the toaster though!

16. pigments / paints / powder
Did I mention that my bestie is a bit inclined towards the arts and crafts?! I so knew I was gonna get a few photos at her place! (huh, not sure why this is showing up so blurry)
17. a coin or coins
My besties uncle was in the RAAF (air force) so had quite the coin collection. That doesn't explain the coins from the 1800's though...
18. decorated pottery
I bought two of these bowls in Tunisia a few years back and I still love the decoration on them - I just wish it had been easier to bring more of them home!
19. beads
Dug out a few beaded bits of jewellery for this one - and the tub of beads that were used for the mask in item 29... which I haven't taken the photo of yet...
20. blank canvas
Who knows what these will become?!
21. tapestry / scarf
I made a version of this scarf with a plain yarn, but then I got this transitional yarn and got mum to knit it for me with that:
22. colored pencils, crayons, or pastels
So... yes, my bestie is artistically inclined.... but the fact that she has this many pencils (and not all of them are even in this photo), yet they are all still near new... kinda speaks more to the "ooh, pretty, I want" part of her personality...
Clan Structure

23. eldest female-identifying dragon in participant's clan*
This is Marrow, her hatch day was May 8 2014, so she's nearly 9!! I saved her from exalting during a Push one year, gave her a little bit of a revamp and now she's my Mire Mage.
Cities & Architecture
10 points each
24. cliff /rocky edge / crag
Kings Park is right next to the city centre here, and set at the top of Mount Eliza, essentially a small bluff, so I figured that would work well. Turns out getting a photo of that bluff is actually harder than you'd think. It's not actually sheer, and it's covered in vegetation and just not great. There's a spot where called Jacob's Ladder with a staircase going up and I accidentally climbed all 242 steps trying to get a good aspect, but ended up with a very boring photo in the long run (well... trust me, there was no running involved)
You can't see the whole set of stairs but this is looking down from the top, for the record
25. tall place/structure
This isn't the tallest building in Perth, or the only one I've worked in. But it's the only one I've abseiled from the top of! - twice, in fact! For the record, at 40 storeys and 163m (535 ft), it's actually the fourth tallest building in Perth.
26. bridge
So, getting a photo of the Matagarup Bridge when it's dark enough to see the lights, but light enough to actually get a photo is surprisingly tricky! It's design represents two swans in flight, but I've always looked at it and thought 'dragon'. To be fair, what I really mean is something like the Loch Ness monster...
27. graffiti/urban art/mural/street art
I was all set to head into town and find some of the very awesome street art there... but I was on this walk across the Goongoongup Bridge Bridge - 407m (1,335 ft) long with a solid concrete wall on one side (it's actually a railway bridge, and there's a second 6 lane road bridge next to it) and was very impressed that the only graffiti along the entire length was four tags!
The (nearly) graffiti-less bridge

28. group of things
I don't think there's any way to describe this other than a shelf with a group of things on it
29. mask / face covering
I crocheted this mask a few years ago for a masquerade themed work Xmas party
30. your coli team*
Well, my main Mire dragon is Marrow, and she's already been shown off, so rather than letting her hog all the spotlight, here's BrazenShadow, Anala and a fodder dragon ready to go into either the Workshop or the Portal
Alliances & Feuds:

31. scholarly knowledge
There are several shelves of books, mostly about flora and fauna at my besties place , but actually seeing the titles of a whole shelf wasn't really possible at this size, so here's just a small part of the collection
32. a gift
These are the portion of my bestie's 'dead critter' collection that I've bought for her - there's quite a few more!
33. something woollen
Ok, this isn't all actually wool, but some of this drawer of yarn certainly is!
Local Environment:
15 points each
34. flowers
Some banksia flowers in various stages of maturity
With the bonus shot of a New Holland Honeyeater!
35. bamboo
Was standing with my neighbour after getting the water photo discussing whether there was any others he could help with and suddenly he was 'oh - look, that's actually bamboo behind you there!
36. balloon or kite
Picture of a hot air balloon at my besties house
37. pinwheel
More air fryer testing - pinwheels!!
38. crystal or stone
My bestie needed a boost a few years back. So I got her this amythest
39. stream, brook, creak/small body of water
My neighbour used to have a little pond and stream filled with koi, so I knew exactly where to go for this one! Unfortunately, he's filled in the stream part and it's only the pond now.
40. a wind dragon in your lair, or dragon with Harpy familiar*
And here's my Wind rep Zephyr, who also happens to by My Harpy Roost Mage!!
