Explorer
   1/4th of Team Castle Clowder Crowd, Winner of Brightshine's Royal Races '22! Troublemaker extraordinaire. Has a seemingly endless curiosity, and will go to absurd lengths to satisfy it. Can rarely be found in the same place two nights in a row, with only her familiar and cat buddy as constant company, despite her deep affection for her mate. Wants to one day have been in every single region in the realm; currently she's paid many a return visit to The Sea of a Thousand Currents, due to her natural affinity to water, seen the Windswept Plateau, The Shifting Expanse, and paid a very brief visit to the Sunbeam Ruins. She's currently preparing herself to cross the seas to the Southern Icefield, knowing that her long exposure to the hot temperatures of the Ashfall Waste might make the trip more of a challenge than she's used to--but that makes her only more excited about it; despite many elder dragons warning her off. Even so, when she announced her intentions for the journey, she received a lot of support both from within and outside of her own clan, the most surprising of which was a gift from the highly respected Clan of Necrovatai, all the way from the Starfall Isles. It was an enormous, cheerful-looking axolotl plushie, and though Djalkava did not pick up on it right away, her mate Dejira instantly sensed that it was enchanted. After some minor investigation, it became clear that not only did the plushie change temperature according to its surroundings, but that it held some degree of sentience. Humbled by such a precious gift, Djalkava vowed to never have it leave her side, going so far as to physically strap it to her body. Plotl, as Dejira had affectionally dubbed them, seemed quite pleased by their new circumstances, if the comfortable warmth they radiated and the small cooing noises that came from within their body were anything to go by. Whenever Djalkava would be home for an extended period of time--meaning more than a single day--they would all cuddle around the plushie at night, Plotl's temperature gradually increasing as the night fell, more often than not leading to the group falling asleep on their soft material, and waking up covered in cats that had been attracted by the plushie's cosy warmth. |
