Hello everyone! I just joined yesterday and I was wondering, how do you get gems?
Hello everyone! I just joined yesterday and I was wondering, how do you get gems?
@LovestruckCC there are several ways to obtain gems:
- purchasing with irl money through "purchase gems"
- purchasing with treasure from other players through forums
- selling items for gems in forums or auction house
- from opening specific gem containing chest items such as Gilded Decorative Chest and Iron Treasure Chest
- very rarely from exalting dragons
- you get one gem every day if you keep your dragons well fed for 3+ days

@LovestruckCC Welcome to Flight Rising! I'll send you a little starting gift. There are lots of ways to make Treasure and Gems! Buying them with real money is an option, but this is not necessary to acquire Gems - engaging in daily activities is a good start. Treasure isn't worth nothing, either; you can often trade Treasure for Gems with other players in the Items For Sale forum. There's no set exchange rate, but the ratio often hovers around 1:1000 (1 Gem per 1,000 Treasure) and shifts depending on trends and new releases. When buying from other players, you can figure out how much Treasure you need by multiplying the big number (for example, 1000) by the number of Gems you want to buy. If you want to buy 500 Gems, and the seller's ratio is "1:1100," multiply 500 by 1,100 - in that case, you'd need 550,000 Treasure. Welcome to Flight Rising! I'll send you a little starting gift.

There are lots of ways to make Treasure and Gems! Buying them with real money is an option, but this is not necessary to acquire Gems - engaging in daily activities is a good start.

This means keeping your dragons fed, gathering items, going through the stalls at the Trading Post, and playing for 75,000 Treasure per day in the Fairgrounds. And that's not counting familiar bonding, selling spare items on the Auction House, and more!

Breeding your dragons and selling their offspring on the Auction House can also be a great way to make consistent cash, even if you're selling them as exalt fodder. And I wasn't kidding about feeding your dragons; hover over the red-and-green energy bar at the top right of the page for more details on the "Well-Fed Bonus!" 1 Gem per day isn't much, but it certainly adds up over time, alongside the other benefits.
