Flight Rising Discussion

I've been getting almost exclusively casino ads lately. Some of them are flashy and with annoying visual effects that make my head hurt, but sadly I didn't screenshot those because I still hoped it would pass. This one even says you have to be over 21 to play, and while I am, I doubt all of FR players are, so I think it's inappropriate. I don't think it's personalized to whatever it could be, since I'm absolutely not interested in gambling and would rather look at literally any other ad. [/quote] [url=https://imgur.com/a/N5mY9E3]same ad[/url], same issues. i managed to get a screenshot of it, but it's impossible to catch the link on mobile. it's cut off on mobile view and disappears when i switch to desktop view. the screenshot was caught in the split second before it changed. i think it's an ad for RAZER tech.

1. Wild Life (illegal activity encouragement. Kidnapping & choking a kid)

2. Odd event: likely an ad was trying to download something to my computer without my permission/knowledge. However, doing that was foiled multiple times since I had the browser set to ask me where to save. It happened multiple times. At first, I thought I was doing an accidental right-sided keyboard command but realized that it could not be since the save command is a left-side keyboard command. Seem like the same thing another user, Valkryor, was getting a few pages back.

3. That questionable ad with the word Cheat in it. Looking back Appears I was not the only one seeing the ad. Another user (AlphaSnowdust) also reported a version a few pages back too.

Side Note: The images and listed date might seem weird to some, but that's the timezone difference; for example, a few report images might be August 20 in the picture, but it's August 21 site time, so I'll list it as such.

Don't know if anyone else if having the same issue, but for some reason ads are failing to display on Flight Rising even though I have my adblock disabled for the site. The lefthand ad bar shows the default "Flight Rising is supported primarily by advertisements" message, but there's the typical border that's meant to display an ad around it. I've noticed the same also happens with the ad bar displayed on the bottom of the site, but it displays ads as usual a few seconds later. I'm using Chrome on a mac mini hooked up to a monitor running Mac OS Big Sur as of typing this. [img]https://i.imgur.com/V28hper.png[/img]

Windows 10 firefox here - got a split second ad in the skyscraper box about how the second amendment is at risk and gun seizures are at an all time high. This is considered inappropriate content, right?
