Went to double check and it does look like this gene breaks the skin/cent darkness/preserve lineart rule in several areas...

^ this. It's infuriating to see outright 100% black in some genes (obsidian phantom/savannah comes to mind) or so dark you can barely see the lines, and yet skins get denied for less.
another small gripe... I [i]really[/i] don't get pharaoh's sarcophagus/egyptian vibes from this. Like, without knowing the name I would have expected it to be from some kind of fish or lizard, not sarcophagus inspired. The trailing darker mark from the eye does align with the typical eye of horus/eye of ra thing, but it's very hard to make out without knowing it's there, and overall it just really doesn't fit the theme of the name whatsoever.

First things first, I'm absolutely down with some darker genes! Please keep on with the trend of genes doing cool new things, I love it!
However, I do agree that the lineart is completely invisible in places. Skins aren't genes, but I feel that I shouldn't need a skin to know that this coatl does, in fact, have feet.
