Being a phlebotomist seems cool and interesting! I faint at the sight of blood tho, mad respect to you, OP!
Seconded! I don't faint at the sight of blood, BUT I get all wobbly when I see it filling up the syringe. Especially if it's my blood. x'D Me, I'm an ESL tutor. I do classes online; currently all my students are adults of various ages. Depending on the courses they choose, I can teach them business English, everyday conversation, or do reviews for exams. On days when I don't have classes, I do deskwork for my company. I mostly check fellow tutors' schedules, making sure what's on the site aligns with the timeslots they chose, and update the lesson materials we use.

I don't have a job but I'm in my second year of studying Animal Management in college and plan on going to uni for conservation :)

I get to work at my college's zoo every Tuesday for experience and it's oh so fun, last week I got attacked by Mango the diva cockatoo who hates women and only gets along with men.

I've hung out with the Ring-tail Lemurs and one of them is called Yoda for having considerably bigger ears.

One time I hand fed our Barn Owl (held out my hand and she flew up and landed on my glove to grab the baby chick) and they are so much lighter than I'd expect!! Birds are light in general but she was so so light! Felt like I had nothing on my arm.

Handled and worked with the Chinchillas every single time I got assigned to the Rodent Room - for some reason everyone else always chose other babies to hand out with so I ended up cleaning and feeding etc the Chinchillas every week. They are the SOFTEST things EVER, comparable to what I think a cloud feels like. And fun fact with Chinchies: They are very soft and fluffy, but if you scare them or frighten them while trying to pick them up, you'll end up with a fistful of chinchilla hair instead because their defense mechanism is to sort of... release all the hair from the targetted area to confuse their predators. Luckily haven't had that happen yet~

Also! We have a new addition in the Rodent Room - a giant african pouched rat, very big rattos, I'd say like 3 times the size of a regular ratto. Fun fact: in Africa they're used to scout out mines because they have a great sense of smell but they're also light enough so that even if they step on a mine, it doesn't explode! Lil heroes :)

I work at a movie theater as a concessionist! Its a fun job and we get unlimited free drinks and movie tickets but the job can also be really stressful when its busy.

what i really want to be a is a digital character sculptor or rigger. I've always wanted to work at a small video game company creating nice creatures and characters for their games

I'm a veterinary technician, aka veterinary nurse. As the title says, I'm basically a nurse, but for animals instead of people (because people are gross :P). I work at a cat-exclusive clinic, where I've been for going on five years now, and I've been working as a licensed tech for about nine years.

I design ads for phone books! It can be tedious sometimes but it's not too stressful and the pay is decent.

Someday, I will have a full, fleshed-out forum signature.

But today is not that day.

I'm a tax accountant working on getting my CPA license. It's alright but honestly I'm just ready to either go back to working in an office since the work from home life is really getting old or changing up career paths. I'm thinking about pursuing a career in Counseling but I want to get my CPA first cause I never wanna go through this testing process again lol

I'm a learned IT techie, but due to some issues I am currently employed at a workplace specialised to employ people who can't work in regular jobs due to disabilities or other issues. It's meant to be mostly a rehabilitating place, but if any employee wanted to, they could stay there til retirement.

Currently, I'm in the starting group, which I'll stay in for about another 2 or so years. Tehre are many types of different tasks there, so skills and interests are being found.
After that, I'll likely go to the electronics group. It's closed to what I've actually learned.

I work two part-time jobs at the moment---prepcook/general 'jack-of-all-trades' for a local restaurant, and I work with my mom and stepdad in their wildlife/pest control business. (edit: Now a line cook for my first, but still do a lot of whatever they need when not busy.)

I still have yet to get my official license for our commercial pest work, once I get that I'll be able to help with the company's lots we spray.
