I'm picky with my dragons (not a fan of the skydancer OP posted or the veilspun posted) but I think that ugly dragons can sometimes turn out really nice with apparel and skins. I also think it's more interesting than super matchy dragons, and I say this as someone whose lair is mostly matchy

I definitely tend to prefer dragons that have more matching colors, but the outliers can be pretty fun too!
Viridian is rocking that speckle/freckle/crackle look, I've thought about giving him other terts before but I always end up falling back in love with how he looks

And then my progen Nokto got hit with a beige tertiary to go with shadow/platinum... but capsule makes it work pretty well!

When I breed I breed very large range dragons with multicolored genes so I usually get these guys a lot .. and i love it the surprise beauty.
