For this guy, I picked out the name Volatin! It's got quite a few meanings: it means "acrobat" in Spanish, and it's also used in Chile to refer to a type of fighter kite. Fighter kites have abrasive, sharp strings, and they're designed to be flown in such a way that your kite cuts the string of the opponent's kite. I suppose this fella would probably be a little competitive when it comes to high-flying stunts!

Cyclone.
It fits the spiral shape, and it's a dangerous wind. As I said, I think the way veined crosses by his eye makes him look a little dangerous, so it's what I want with my scry.
I'm imagining him as part of my pirate crew, can't help it :D

I would name him Bassoon!
Going off the same scry ideas, the Bassoon is a large woodwind instrument. The Bassoon is made of hardwood, but it is a softer wood than the Clarinet.
Reeds, a vital part of woodwinds can be made of a bunch of different material like plastic or steel, but are also made of the Giant Reed plant, a type of cane.
Reeds and wood are both materials that can be used as the structure of a kite. What's more, you can make cordage from natural tree fibres, as well as weave reeds together and use reeds to bind. Both of them can naturally display both green and orange colors of both the wind flight, and the dragon.
The Bassoon makes a beautiful sound, completely powered by wind, and like any instrument, the Bassoon is expensive- which is fitting for a G1.
And Bassoon as a name, id imagine, would be short for Contrabassoon, an extremely large woodwind that would feel right at home in a Skydancer's skillful claws! The sounds of the contrabassoon are much deeper than the Bassoon and you can even feel the reverberation in videos! I think a Contrabassoon would very much match the low growls of a dragon, and Bassoon would reflect both deep low tones, as well as the gorgeous melodies of both instruments.

For today's challenge I would name this dragon Aifatu, which means 'messenger' in Tahitian. The name sounds and looks right (to me, at least), and Tahiti is part of the Windward Islands. And Windies are known as messengers, of course :)
[s]Also @Stormfly really loving your Bassoon idea, this other woodwind approves! And the shape of a bassoon even reminds me of bamboo[/s]

I would name him Caelicurl. It's a mashup of the latin word for wind and his (hopefully) Spiral form. I think the more whimsical naming convention I have for my dragons fits Wind well.
Tuulentanssija, that is finish and it means dancer of the wind. I think that is perfect for the wind dragon :)

Ok time for the name... I'm so bad at names lol (sweeps tens of unnamed dragons in own lair under the rug)
Mint+peridot remind me of the luna moth's color, so I guess I'd name him Actias (for the genus name of the moth)

I'd name him Jango because it's such a fun and jungle-feeling name!!

I named him Maanasoon, or Maana for short! It means monsoon in Hindi. Since the monsoon is a wind that provokes strong changes in the local climate, I feel like it would fit well with the playful and chaotic personality I see in him!

I'm naming him Catapult because it's hilarious to imagine a Wind-themed Snapper named after something that implies he can be hurled through the air as a weapon :P
