I know that a lot of other hatcheries are doing it. Now that we are a "medium-business" (to quote potatho), it might make more sense to change to a method that takes a bit less direct management, not to mention being a little less daunting for socially anxious people to join/ leave. But really, we want to get your opinions on this because you are the people actually [s]putting up with[/s] interacting with us, and I really want to make things the best experience for you as possible. Would you rather put things in yourself? Or would you rather a more human touch? Please give us your thoughts!

Hm, an interesting question! I have no personal preference for either ping list sign-up method... but I do like the ability to self-remove myself from a ping list, hahah. It is both efficient and removes much potential awkwardness.
