Dust kicks up as it swings open, revealing the interior. The walls are covered in bookshelves, scrolls and pieces of paper haphazardly thrown up against the wall. As you step inside you notice dark stains across the floor that you assume are ink stains if the empty ink bottle laying on the floor is any indicator. A voice to your right makes you jump in surprise and you turn to see a guardian scurry towards you from behind a desk so cluttered you wonder how she works on it. Candles float along behind her and you open your mouth to say something as they brush past a pile of loose paper but decide not to when nothing catches fire. You watch as a small toad jumps off her back and hops away into a back corner. " Ah, sorry about that. Marshall doesn't like other dragons." She says, sitting down. " One to many times almost being eaten." You nod quietly, watching the candles that have floated closer to you. " So! What can I help you with? Need a clan document? How about a story to tell young hatchlings or maybe I could interest you in some lore." She says, waving her talons to the walls full of paper. " I have everything you could possibly need here. For a small sum of course." Marshall hops along behind her, croaking everytime her candles start to singe paper. " What would I do without you Marshall?" Sage says, turning around and carefully stamping out a small fire starting on the edge of a blank scroll. Marshall croaks again and Sage laughs. " Yeah I know the candles should go but how else am I supposed to see what I'm writing?" She says, placing the scroll back on the pile and returning to her organization. She grabs a small scroll, the ink barely dried, and places it in the chest in front of her, closing and locking it after. " There we go, a safe place for the backups incase the customers lose their scrolls." Sage says, turning around and sitting back at her desk. Sorry for the late reaction, not really. the only thing I came up with is he came from the The Hewn City and was found there as an abandoned hatchling
