Biography

Crumpled parchment floods the floor. A sea of bad ideas, oddly phrased sentences and weirdly structured paragraphs, and in the middle, the creator.

Her claws clamped on a pen, she scribbles, faster and harder the deeper into the night it gets. Her wrist lays in a pool of ink and smudges cover her face.

Worlds bloom under her pen. Beautiful places and unimaginable landmarks blossom from its tip. Characters are birthed onto her page, kind and evil, friend and foe.

Her tool shakes with her hand. Her companion lets out a moan of impatience, she brushes him off.

She nods in and out of conciousness, head swaying dangerously until, eventually, her grip loosens and a sigh of satisfaction escapes her chewed and calloused lips.

Her head falls next to her book, her worlds, her people, slowly receding, letting exhaustion overcome her mind.

She collapses finally, a smile still painting her face.
