DreamWeavers

Lore

Dreams that seem unclear when a dragon wakes up or that disappears from their memory to quick are said to have been touched by Weavers.

DreamWeavers are one of the Arcane's many experiments, this time, an attempt to tap into the mystery of dreams - how they come to be and the power that they hold. They exist throughout the Startfall Isles and tend to get attached to beings that seem to live in their own world, or show abundant creativity.

They have begun to emit pearl sludge from their skin; when it hardens, they will turn into statues, a monument of who they used to be. Because they lack the fur intended and scales that their wild brethren possess, they must rely on heat sources or thick clothing for warmth in cold environments. They also require more baths and protection from sun than wild bogsneaks.

A being of both light and fire, the deity broke free of the bonds of darkness that once consumed the world that they reclaimed. The Underworld is perpetually at odds with a creature known as the Entity, a hivemind composed of thousands of souls in a body that can split apart into an army known as Vessels. Goetia-born dragons go by the names of the breeds they’re modeled after, and form clans of their own called ‘legions’. They have a variety of elements in their number, but unlike Sornieth, are far from divided. They unite together as one to protect their lone deity from the Entity, very rarely making adversaries of one another. Strangely enough, despite appearing almost exactly like the dragons of Sornieth, they are also completely genetically incompatible with their lookalikes. It takes a wise individual to both summon and tame a Goetia-born. Virtually anyone can summon one of them, but taming one is an entirely different matter. Without the proper procedures and respect in a ritual, a summoner will meet a grisly end...either fallen victim to the being they called upon, or dragged back to the Underworld to come face to face with their sins. The family of Flambebes and the scout had walked to The Scorched Forest in hopes of a fun day training the newest addition to the clan. In a horrible turn of events, Jubilee, his mate, and Inigo were attacked by remnants of The Shade, known to be scattered across Sornieth.
