Requirements:
Breed- Imperials, Pearlctchers, Skydancers, Coatls, Faes
Element- Any
Paradoxes are unusual dragons. Well, they would be if they were actual dragons. Instead, they are something else. Something inexplicable that should not be possible. Paradoxes are not really real, yet they exist, just like normal dragons. Each paradox has a paradoxical trait about them, hence the name, paradox.
Dark Paradox (A.K.A Shade touched Paradox)
The darker the coloring of a Dark Paradox, the more Shade-touched and evil it is. The lighter the Dark Paradox, the greater it's chance of redemption. As a result, the darker ones are more highly respected and given more difficult and important missions by the Shade. The lighter ones, are almost never trusted with important matters or secrets and are usually stuck with the most menial jobs. Although the closer together the colors of a Dark Paradox are, the more powerful it is, with XXX, XYY, and XXY color patterns being the most powerful.

Speaker For The Dead (A.K.A. Dreamweaver)
Speakers For The Dead are inherently good Paradoxes. As the name suggests, they can speak to the dead, but only those whose souls have not moved on to the afterlife. They help these restless spirits settle unfinished business, and say goodbye to their loved ones, or whatever else is holding them back from the afterlife. They also help wayward spirits find their way to the afterlife, and will banish evil spirits. Though this is not all they do. They are also responsible for creating drams. The more pure whit the Speaker, the more good they are. No Speaker is evil, but some are more questionable than others. Unlike Dark Paradoxes, Speakers actually have a somewhat structured society, with their leader being the most powerful Speaker being their leader. The current leader is The Harbinger. The paler the Speaker, the better it is at communing with ghosts, and the more colorful the Speaker, the better it is at creating dreams. When a Speaker encounters a Necromancer, it does not end well. Speakers are the polar opposites of necromancers, using their magic to help instead of harm. They consider necromancers to be despicable violaters of everything sacred. The two should be kept apart at all costs.

Mist Paradox
Mist Paradoxes look similar to Dark Paradoxes, yet are neither inherently good or evil. Each Mist is different in its allegiance, with most being somewhere in between good and evil. The good ones are powerful against the Shade and aid their clans in defeating them time and time again.
Accepted Genes:

Secondary- Alloy, Blend, Clouded, Current, Daub, Edged, Eye-spots, Faceted, Freckle, Hex, Hypnotic, Morph, Peregrine, Rosette, Saturn, Stripes

Redeemed Paradoxes
Redeemed Paradoxes are Dark Paradoxes who have been redeemed either by the dream-like magic of Speakers or the Shade-repelling magic of a Mist paradox. Those are the two most common ways, and as they are involuntary, it is less likely to be permanent. Much more rarely, a Dark Paradox will see the truth, and attempt to change, evicting the Shade from their mids in a long and grueling battle. Dark Paradoxes who attempt this often die in the process. The lighter the coloring of a Redeemed Paradox, the more likely it is to stay that way.

Guardian Angels
Pale, feathery Paradoxes with gentle souls. They are the only Paradoxes with actual souls, and as a result, the only ones who can actually die. This makes them vulnerable but increases their power by spades. You see, a dragon's power comes from its soul, its emotions, and yes, its element, but not as much. This is why the eleven could not defeat the Shade entirely. Why they were not powerful enough to wipe them out of existence. Only something mortal, something with a soul and an expiration date wields this kind of power. If it was not that way, existence would be impossible. The immortal would be too powerful. It is better this way. Angels also watch over other dragons in life, keeping them safe, and the Shade at bay. They are guardians, fiercely protective of their charge(s).

SkyFire Paradox (A.K.A. Phoenixes)
Skyfire Paradoxes have an unusually strong elemental connection. This means that they have powerful magic. Their magic reserves are almost limitless. The bounds of their power depend on the Skyfire. Skyfires also have another strange trait. There's a reason some call them Phoenixes. The Skyfires are mortal, which means that they have even greater power than immortals, but they also live almost indefinitely. When a Skyfire is killed, their souls will move on to the afterlife like normal, unless another being performs a phoenix spell, anchoring their souls to the mortal realm. After this happens, if the body is burned, the Skyfire in question will be reborn. This allows them to live almost indefinitely and increases their power ten-fold.

Keepers (A.K.A Wilds)
Keepers are the keepers of the natural world. They guard it against all threats. LIke the Skyfires, they are extremely attuned to their element. They have powerful magic, and are not afraid to use it in defense of their home. They tend to live in harmony with nature, but surprisingly, most are not nature dragons. They can be all elements, ut even the plague, fire, and arcane ones are somewhat hostile towards their birth flight, preferring instead to join other flights like wind, nature, water, earth, and light.

Eye Lore
Common Eyes
Common eyes have no particular unusual power, and are the average Paradox. However, common eyed Paradoxes can be powerful, just not because of their eyes. Common eyed Speakers tend to have an affinity for comforting distraught ghosts, and performing phoenix spells.
Uncommon Eyes
Uncommon eyed Paradoxes are the same as common eyed, though uncommon eyed Speakers are a bit better at comforting distraught ghosts and performing phoenix spells.
Unusual Eyes
Paradoxes with unusual eyes seem to be a bit more substantial and have a stronger tie to their element than other Paradoxes.
Goat Eyes
Goat eyed Paradoxes are more feral and wild than the others, often causing harm to those they care about on accident. This does come with a bonus, however. Goat eyed speakers can commune with the spirits of familiars.
Rare Eyes
Rare eyed Paradoxes have more power than common, uncommon, unusual, and goat eyed paradoxes. Rare eyed Mist Paradoxes often have the ability to sense the Shade, even before they can be seen or heard.
Swirl Eyes
These Paradoxes were not born with these eyes. Instead, they suffered a traumatic event, that caused their mind to fracture. These Paradoxes are insane, and many suffer from PTSD. They will often lash out unprovoked and are to be avoided at all costs. Even the Shade have no use for these poor souls.
Faceted Eyes
Paradoxes with faceted eyes have spontaneous visions of the future. They cannot control these visions, and live lives of luxury, but constant suffering. Mist Paradoxes with faceted eyes can however control their visions, only having them when they want to, and they can see the fate of a specific place or dragon.
Innocent Eyes
Paradoxes with innocent eyes cannot be controlled by the shade. If a dark paradox has these eyes, it is hunted down and killed, as the shade do not like free thinkers, and they have immense power, as they are more paradoxical than most paradoxes. Mist Paradoxes with these eyes are immune to the Shade's attempts to disrupt their spells, and as a result, can keep their clans safe more easily than other Mist Paradoxes.
Glowing Eyes
Paradoxes with glowing eyes have special abilities depending on their types. Speakers with glowing eyes can commune with spirits that have already reached the afterlife, and are useful when solving cold cases. Mist Paradoxes with glowing eyes repel the Shade just by existing. Any clan that contains one of these Paradoxes will never be bothered by the Shade. Dark Paradoxes with these eyes are believed to be able to control the Shade, but no one knows for sure, as they are almost always killed.
Multi-gaze Eyes
Paradoxes with multi-gaze eyes can see all the different outcomes one action might have. They make excellent military tacticians.
Primal Eyes
Primal eyed Paradoxes are the most powerful of all their brethren. They decide the fate of the world. They will choose whether the world is razed or raised. Many ancient prophecy agree, and as such, many are killed at birth. Never yet has one lived to adulthood. If one did, they would hold the fate of the world in their paws.
Dark Scelera
Speakers with Dark Scelera hold a magic too powerful for them. And egg pulsating with magic before it hatches is a sure sign that the hatchling will be born with magic that will destroy it. So few survive because the spells required to save them are immensely complex. The few that do survive are extremely weakened by it. They cannot gather energy from their element like other Paradoxes and Dragons. They can only get energy by absorbing moonlight which is stored in a capsule as a result of the same spell that gives them Dark Scelera eyes. What causes this magic? These Speakers are born with souls.
