Because the syllable counter I used was crappy as dog poo I started fixing this, with this counter.
---

Why thank you comrade,
I'm called Kahvinporo, I'm
with the Plague-mother.

I might be Plague, the
disease carrier - and you
with the someone else.

I don't judge you by
the choice you have made in the
very beginning.

---

Every element has its
own way to celebrate her -
our lady of the bright light.

But in the Wasteland we feast
'till the sun touches us.
The day before it we start

collecting Lights breath-flowers.
With it we decorate our
homes and our land, for the feast.

Feast is nothing without the
delicious food, for this fete
we hunt this specific bug

that cannot resist lighting
things up, the bug is called the
reedcleft sparkler, it's pretty

delicious treat for the kids,
adults and to elders too.
Even our mother likes it.

---

During this time of
the year we
don't see the moon much.

As soon as
it rises up to
the dim sky

it sets down when the
first beams of
sun touches it.

We call it
the midnight sun, no
dark this night.

The lightness makes us
breezy and
very cheery too.

---

The jubilee shines
brightly, as we continue
our feast, but alas

we have to end this
feast, it sure was fun but now
it is time to stop.

No food is left, and
we are just so tired after
many hours of this

celebration. Now
I say, "Farewell my comrade,
now let's go back home."

Now it should be fixed... this was a lot harder than it needed to be.

I remember when, we had to do this for school.. It was difficult.

Prompt 1:
My name is Horsey.
I'm new and don't know a lot,
but I love this site.

I have five dragons.
Three Guardian, two Mirror..
Two boys and three girls.

I favor my boys.
Though my girls are all three great,
My boys are the best.

@Kahvinporo Would you be willing to share your syllable counter with the other contestants? It may help them out. :)

I hope you don't mind if I purposely did them in a different order. Not nearly as good as I would have liked, as I can't write haikus for beans. I'm better at freehand, but whatever. Figured, why not? I am in the festive mood.

Prompt 1:
Who am I, you ask?
I am ripples on the lake,
Movements in the world.

I’m called Bobbina,
By those who see the surface.
I’m ideas. Actions.

I’m the tree that falls,
Since if my voice is not heard,
Am I there at all?

Prompt 3:

We are ignorant.
Helplessly.
We seek this knowledge.

Yet for naught.
We can’t enlighten,
Just create.

This knowledge we know,
Our treasure,
Is but a false light.

Illusions.
False hope, to indulge,
In our greed.

Instead, we invent.
With just our
Imagination.

Prompt 2:

What have I done, you ask me?
Why, I’ve entered a contest,
A festivity, for her.

She who brings light to darkness,
She who glows, with radiance
Of a thousand splendid suns.

I’ve attempted to combine,
Her two favorite subjects.
Poetry, philosophy.

We, the Stormcatcher’s children,
Still celebrate the Brightshine,
Gratitude glowing for light.

During this beautiful week,
This famed Brightshine Jubilee,
We remember all she’s done.

For when we bring raging storms,
Lightning still holds brilliance,
Testament to the Weaver.

Prompt 4:

Alas, I am done.
Completed the divulgence,
Of my gratitude.

We of the lightning,
Will forever recognize,
The Lightweaver’s gift.

Though we may quarrel,
The Catcher will always be
The Weaver’s brother.

Our bonds with the light,
Cannot ever be severed.
So let kin rejoice.

Recently came back after a long hiatus, so sorry if I'm new to some things
Using multiple lines defeats the idea of a haiku....

Oh well.

Coliseum grind.
Shining tablets will be mine.
Lightning destroys light.

EDIT: Prompt 2. I am gleefully blasphemous against gods that aren't mine. Also shameless.

@bobbina It's ok that they are in a different order since you labeled them. I know which is an answer to which prompt and that's all that matters.

@Kaj I know that what I am asking for is not strictly a haiku, but I thought that asking for /, ||, or other strikes might confuse people. Asking for paragraph breaks makes it a bit easier for me to read, also. Or were you referring to something else?
As for blasphemy from other Flights, I would have been surprised if there wasn't at least one remark in there. I suppose, in the name of the Lightweaver, I can forgive you.

Prompt 1:

I'm here, but I'm not;
I'm day-dreaming in the back,
Ignorant of cool.

With my head tilted,
I'm dreaming past the ceiling,
To the sky and stars.

I go by Tonners,
I'm eclectic and I'm odd,
Awkward; quiet; shy.

Prompt 2:

Our Astilbe is our Light;
And loves the Lightweaver still,
Despite loving Arcanist.

Astilbe tells us of light;
That shining light is the way;
We must light up the darkness.

With truth and science as one,
How can we be lead astray?
So, we celebrate the bond:

We hail the bright Lightweaver,
Celebrate under the stars,
Hail the Arcanist, our God.

Because of the light of truth,
We can share the knowledge of
All that is beyond the light

We can reach it together;
We can travel at light-speed,
So speed us on, Lightweaver.

Thankyou to our Astilbe;
Lightweaver has lit our skies,
We will soar with the great Light.

Prompt 3:

Lightweaver, join us,
In Arcane;
Join us in our dreams.

Together,
We will discover
All there is.

We can teach you how
Dreams, Space, Thought;
Light, get lost with us.

Yes, I know,
Getting lost means fright;
Just trust me.

Get lost in day dreams;
You are Light.
The sun never lies.

Prompt 4:

As we say goodbye,
We of the Arcanist know,
We always have Light.

Astilbe is here,
To remind us of Brightshine,
And the friends we made.

This celebration
Of Jubilation must end
But not in our hearts.

Although the Shade came
We can show others the way
Honestly, Science.

(Hehe. Honestly, Science, came to me like the ending of a letter;

Honestly,
Science.)

I love poetry. <3 Some AWESOME things here!!!
