Thanks for the reply ^^ I had tried doing all three colors on the smaller gems but I decided that looked even weirder than I think they look right now. Also now that I look at mine again do you think it is maybe too dark? I asked my brother (who in retrospect isn't really artistically inclined) but anyway he thought it may be too dark?

Ahh okay. Hmmm..it is a bit dark around the edges of the fur, the nose and ear. (Awe man I like how it is though. D: )
Probably lighten it up a bit? Or maybe you could try to mimic the shadings and see if it really is too dark?

You could try using the line in the crease of the elbow as a guide for how to curve them~

Just did a little adjustment on mine... hopefully it looks a bit better now XD
