hey! I'm interested in making an adoptable, and I want to make one that stretches across the whole part of the signature. How should I size it to make it not look pixel-y? When I tried resizing my large image (I use MediBang Paint for computer) it just ruined the resolution. I heard that it should be 500 x 100, but it doesn't look smooth that way. I'm ind of rambling at this point and this might not make sense, but could anyone help out? c:

what's the Dpi/ppi you're using on the image before shrinking? lower dpi tends to pixelate when shrunk.

@SilverWiing Yes, the maximum signature size is 500px wide and 100px tall. Anything bigger than that will just be cropped/cut off.

How big is your original image size? If the original image is really big, you're better off just drawing a smaller base.

@SilverWiing (and @NightmareJudge ) maximum sig size is actually 525x100, not 500! though as a note, if you include columns coding, it shaves off two pixels from the height, so if you ever decide to do other sig adopts that don't take up the full width, that could be good to keep in mind.

in addition to what Anourou said, it could also be how you're resizing it? some programs have different options you can use - for example, the version of Photoshop i have has different things depending on whether you want it bigger (smooths it out a bit) or smaller (makes it sharper/clearer) - so you might want to Google your program a bit and see if there's options like that you can tweak.

also make sure you're resizing it proportionally (keeping it to scale), as that's a thing i see people not doing sometimes and it can make things look pretty wonky.
