Ohh I've missed this thread <3 I hope you feel better soon! burnout does really suck. Last time I didn't have any songs that fitted that week's theme, and I don't think I have any for this one again, sadly.

1. Cowboy Dan - Modest Mouse
Gotta love Modest Mouse's wide ranges. Like. A cowboy song? From the people who wrote Float On? Way more likely than you think!?!! I am not ashamed to admit that I discovered this one through a Mapleshade themed MAP. Warrior Cats is insane and the artists who read it even more so. Love them.

2. El Paso - Marty Robbins
I'll be honest this one is here solely due to nostalgia. Gunfighter Ballads is an iconic album and this song in particular is not only one of Robbins' current most popular, but I heard it a LOT out of my dad's radio when I was younger. I dunno its just fun!

3. A Horse with No Name - America and George Martin
This one? This one gets stuck in my head so so easily. It's infectious. It's amazing. It just hooks me. Maybe I'm the one whose been through the desert etc etc

4. (Ghost) Riders in the Sky - Johnny Cash
I needed to put at least one Johnny Cash song or I'd be mad with myself and honestly? This is my favorite one. Ghost cowboys is just a fun concept no matter how you spin it.

5. Scavenger On The Wind - Mangy Bones
LOVE Mangy Bones they're SO FUN!! Scavenger is their most popular so might as well have it be the one I throw at you.
