Maburaho was the first anime I watched, not counting Pokemon. It was... Interesting.
GetBackers was the first REAL anime I watched. It's stuck with me ever since.

I don't really think it does since it's more cartoon-y than anime-y, so I'll say it's probably either Yu Yu Hakusho (or Ghost Fighter, as I knew it then, since I first watched it in Tagalog dub) or Slam Dunk. I watched a lot of anime before I even knew what it was.
After I really found out what anime was, then my first one that I watched has to be Clannad. Not gonna lie, I cried buckets of tears cause of it, and I still watch it from time to time because damn, it's super good.
