I'M GONNA DRINK IT LIKE A PERSON
@Kiena

I've been playing a bit with using different quickness levels on dragons, and I've found one I really like:

First Dragon: 127 Str 55 Quick 13 Vit
Second Dragon: 126 Str 58 Quick 11 Vit

Each is equipped with 2 ambushes (and 3 berserkers, obviously). The benefit of this is two fold: first, for Harpy's roost, the first dragon is strong enough to 1 hit eliminate both the mesacliff and stonecarve harpies, and also the brush dodo. This means that the only enemies that require a scratch first are the hooded dodo and the sunspot cloudancer in this area.

The second (and arguably more important) benefit is that the quickness difference makes levelling fodder faster in the Roost/Mire/Beds venues, and allows for more smooth grinding in the Workshop. Here's how:

1st dragon has 1st ambush skipped
1st dragon rallies 2nd dragon
2 dragon then has three turns in a row (two ambush related and one extra due to quickness)
1st dragon has their last turn

By using this model, my team is able to rally-eliminate a 3 enemy group in the mire/kelp beds in 4 turns, as long as the enemy is able to be rally-eliminated by a 126 str dragon.

As for the Workshop, this is also useful because many enemies can be KOed using a rallied scratch + eliminate, which means my team can easily get rid of 2/3 enemies before they attack (minus the swifts and chrome feather lookout, which are both faster)

So, this could potentially be a good choice for people who consistently level and are looking for a slightly faster way of doing so, since it removes an extra turn when dealing with groups of 3-4 (the normal method is #1 rally dragon #2, #2 eliminate, #2 eliminate, #1 do something not to lose breath, #2 eliminate for groups of three in the mire as far as I know)

It may not be ground-breaking, but it's worked well for me. The only real downside with this team is that it is really frustrating when something dodges on the first turn of the second dragon. That, and I picked dragons with elemental leanings which are weak to both of the kelp beds bosses :P let me know if you think it's any good or not!

@Kiena - I just wanted to let you know that I've been testing mindcrank's variation on the Mire build and with the new packs, it works better as far as speed is concerned. Back when you and I were first deciding on stats, with the old packs, we deemed the 7 VIT much more important because Brilliant Psywurms were very, very rare and the starting packs involving Brilliant Psywurms were mostly not what you'd want to start on anyway (except the 2-pack).

Now, there is a much bigger occurrence of Brilliant Psywurms, and their new Plague counterparts, the Mossy Cerdae. In addition, there are the Wetland Unicorns that can get annoying with Contuse especially if you miss. What's great about the 117 STR build is it allows you to 4-Scratch the Brilliant Psywurms and Mossy Cerdae, AND another useful threshold is that if you get 3 Scratches on the Wetland Unicorn, then get Contused, the fourth Contused Scratch will KO it. (That won't happen with 115 STR.)

With the new bosses, it's also harder to just keep chaining even though you have full energy and health, since they can appear at inopportune times and you have to reset to avoid wasting time. With that fact, the 117 build gives you more options for quicker startup, and this adds up. Note that you do have to reset a bit more and are more susceptible to random crits, but the times are still better.

I don't have enough data for the higher levels to be satisfied yet, but I do have hundreds of tests for the lower levels at the moment. They show a few seconds of improvement for using 117 STR.

117 STR / 72 QCK / 20 VIT times

115 STR / 72 QCK / 27 VIT times

I am respeccing my remaining 115 STR dragon to 117 STR because those few seconds per dragon are significant.

One thing to note: It's really important not to use off-elements with the 117 STR build. A Shadow dragon would be useless with the build because Mossy Cerdae and Brilliant Psywurm are weaknesses. So you'd be gearing it up to fight things that can kill it in one or two shots, which is counterproductive. Off-elements would already struggle health-wise.
