a hollow tree above a network of labyrinthine caverns. On one side bordered by a tide pool shallow enough for even a hatchling Fae to safely play in, and on the other a murky forest. The clan once pledged allegiance to the Shadowbinder, but have since moved to the lighter, less sneaky life of a Water clan. They fight, frolic, and function as one big family. They are family to the injured, the outcast, and the mismatched. No one is alone, and no one has to be afraid. All breeds and elements are welcome under the fair and beloved leadership of Zinnia.

a network of small caverns underneath. The tree resides on the edge of a tide pool along the border between Water and Shadow. The nesting grounds and other vulnerable parts of the clan are housed in the deeper caverns where it is hardest for an intruder to reach, given the distance and level of defense. The nests in which the dragons live are mostly ranged around the floor of the tree and in large cracks in the thick walls partway up the tree. The Faes of the clan, however, live in their amber-spun nests higher up in the tree, out of the way of the larger dragons.

mate, to call their own. Each reflects the personalities of its inhabitants. nest is built with a floor that is only a metre below closed top of the tree. It is decorated with flowers and laden with scrolls and important papers.

prediction. This role belongs to Lillian, who is adept at seeing future visions and interpreting abstract messages. She has a cavern in part of the lair devoted to her craft where any dragon can come to see what lies ahead. Along with her partner Skia, who prepares any and all potions and concoctions for her, Lillian keeps the future of the clan safe.

to understand the speech of Faes and Coatls and translate it for other dragons to understand. In the case of Zinnia's clan, this role is filled by Meringue and Rora, who understands Coatl hums, although she cannot speak them.

allied clans. All are female Snappers; Firefly and her daughter Chrysanthemum, as well as Ashley and Luna. They all use message delivery as a way to satisfy their nomadic desires while still being a part of the clan.

whose specific jobs are to communicate with the Tidelord. Their duties include guiding dragons who have been exalted to his service to him as well as asking him for permission to expand the clan's lair and other such things.

The Deliverer takes things that are brought in by the Gatherers and shows them to the Cataloger, who records them so the Deliverer can put them in whatever section they belong in.
