@Polareis It's a good way to channel my desire to do math so I jump on any new dragons as soon as I can

Did I do this correctly? o.o; I will say nocturnes are way smaller than I thought they were. I thought Imperials were the Nocturne size and vice versa. xD

I don't think they've added them to the main photo yet, but Fenny2 did the calculations a page or two back, with Xenonyn trying their hand at it

Been wondering, because I thought it was one the site some place. But isn't there a resource that tells you the max and min numbers for each breed? Been trying to find those numbers for Dusthide. I know they are a small breed but when I think 'small' I think Fae small and my Dusthide is Length2.38 m, Wingspan2.46 m, Weight30.13 kg. And that seems rather big to me...

@AngryMothNoises No, they're not as small as Fae, yours is a bit bigger than all of mine but not by much (a few cm). Amusingly, yours must be on a diet; most of mine, despite being smaller, are quite a bit chunkier, with my heaviest weighing in at 48.66kg! Also, when defining 'small' you have to remember the size of some of the behemoths, which does make our little 1-2m dusties look very small indeed. Fae and Veilspun are just microscopic butterflies! I don't know about the min/max figures though, sorry. Love your long nosed Ridge sig [emoji=ridgeback laughing size=1]

@Fledhyris Oh thats right. I forgot Veils are micro. I guess I was kinda hoping Dusthides were the size of a house cat. I guess A dusthide being 2m/6 feet is the size of some monitor lizards. So that is small. To me I feel like average dragon size is 40 feet in length and 12 feet in height (the size of the current largest t-rex) so in my head I go from there. Obviously this is for when I think about dragons in general and not just FR lol.

And thank you! I need to bring the ridge sigs back.

@AngryMothNoises Yeah, probably the best animal comparison for Dusties - given their size, diet and those earth (and rock) digging claws - is the giant anteater. All I can think is that, if it weren't for Dusthides, Dragonhome would be a teeming maze of termite pillars! Also, given Dusties' mode of attack - curling up in a ball and smashing into things at momentum - and their weight - ouch. (I want to know where they put the antlers...) A lot of the FR dragons are surprisingly smaller than 'folklore standards' like you quoted, which is probably what throws us all off, but it makes sense considering how many of them live in large lairs together (I'm looking at you, Imp collectors..!) [emoji=imperial laughing size=1] Somehow I've managed to have all my Ridgebacks live away from the lair, solo or on small gathering or exploring teams, for which everyone must be profoundly thankful. I still do have quite a few imps though... maybe they're not really that big, they're just holographic projections and the real imps are much smaller! Don't even get me started on the food point comparisons...
