'single dragon' means a dragon on it's own, it does not have to be the same dragon. I used three to complete the achievement.

I have strong opinions on the shock switch achievement but I won't get into that since I already talked about it too much in my own thread

However, I do kind of feel like the breeding achievements are... absurd. Requiring years of breeding daily feels like such a high number to reach. I'm not going to be bothering with it because it's just too much. I also don't understand why progress wasn't given retroactively?? Like, your account tracks how many dragons you've bred and exalted. I automatically completed all the exalting achievements because I've already exalted well over 5k dragons. However, even though my account registers having hatched over 1k eggs, none of those seemed to have counted towards the total. I just don't understand why I guess. My best guess is that even though your account tracks your eggs hatched, the older ones probably can't distinguish between ancient and modern?

When I thought about it originally, at first the breeding and exalting achievements felt parallel, the required exalted was high so it made sense that the breeding one required so many as well. But really, you can exalt dragons at your own pace. If you want to buy hundreds of dragons in a day to go towards that achievement, you can. With breeding, you're really at the mercy of time. Unless you're willing to spend thousands of gems buying boons.

That being said, if that's what they wanted for their game, for some achievements to take years and years, then I guess that's just what they wanted. I'm not a dragon breeder anyways so this achievement really isn't for me, and that's okay

I guess maybe they hoped people would hatch a bunch of noc eggs, since they seem to have some issue value wise? Since they also want people to open like 250 chests, instead of selling them all.

The one million one for shock switch; I was only halfway there after 30 min. Like...that's ridiculous for a minigame I'm sorry.

all this shock switch torture reminds me of that one guy who got max score in one of the loomian legacy arcade games within hours of release and everyone called bullcrap because he got it in 3 and a half minutes whereas second and third place were in the 17s and the majority of people would get killscreened after half an hour. it took a whole month for someone to beat his "perfect time".

but back on topic i am so mad that i have to wait for notn to get a ton of achievements (i am NOT buying strange dust at its current LAH.)

Just spent half an hour on shock switch to reach like 600k points sigh

But also I have some tips for other quests!
For the "consecutive XYZ" achievement, you can buy fodder from the AH- trying to buy two of the same consecutive XYZ pair takes a LOT of searching and I gave up, but it's a lot more doable to try and buy a pair that will have a 50% chance of a consecutive XYZ hatchling (and therefore probably still hatched on the first nest!)
If you find one consecutive XYZ, just search for dragons that are one color off from that one (in any of the genes), and this will probably be really easy to find, especially if its a popular color!
For reference, I got an Abyss/Phthalo/Azure and paired her with an Abyss/Phthalo/Phthalo

And for the Runestones of the Arcanist, I got 50k on my first try- I can't tell if maybe I'm just really good at memory games, but my strategy was to click each of them in direct linear order (right after each other horizontally) and say the name of the tile aloud. Then, my brain would be able to latch onto both the picture and the word, which made discovering repeats a lot easier. Then, when I thought I had gotten a repeat tile, I would just spam click all of the tiles I had clicked before (since they were all in linear order behind the new one) until I found it again. Rinse and repeat and don't care about the accuracy- I don't think you're scored on it anyway!

i used to play shock switch A Lot™ like i'm nowhere near the highscores on the scoreboard omg but i've got some tips for the 1mil achievement:

- play on easy, the four different tiles seem pretty optimal
- literally just ignore your power-up
- have a good internet connection, you're going to need it. this achievement took me about 44 mins to get with a few pauses so if your connection is spotty you're in trouble (which is a big issue with shock switch in general but that's a different topic)
- use keyboard controls if you can. get the muscle memory down with space to move the tiles up and e to rotate by just practicing. you will have to practice
- try to match the tiles into threes as fast as you can. don't worry about getting fancy combos or those cascading combos or whatever else. you see three red, you pair them up, you move on.
- keep an eye on the stacks and don't be afraid to nudge a few off the top of the tallest towers if they get a bit out of control. trying to keep the blocks relatively level makes it less stressful
- when you get better at it, you can fill the screen with more blocks to make matches faster, but ONLY do that when you're confident otherwise you could lose it all
- the shock ability to wipe the board clean is for emergencies. use it for fun early on, sure, but when the speed picks up you might need it so hold onto it and don't panic
- my personal preference is to line the tiles up in verticals to begin and clean up with horizontal matches after the bulk is gone. i always fill the screen about two thirds of the way, make some vertical matches to clear space and knock the towers down until i've reset back to an empty board. idk if that makes sense but i hope so!

and good luck! i will need the luck to get the mahjong without shuffling u.u
