Treasure (t) is earned in a few different ways here. You have "hoard selling," selling items directly from your hoard for the value shown when you hover over the item; selling items or dragons on the auction house (AH) to other players, which earns you more money than hoard selling but only if you get a buyer; the Fairgrounds, where you play minigames to earn up to 75kt per day; and exalting dragons, which rewards you with a sum of t depending on the dragon's level and whether it's eligible for any of the daily exalt bonuses, which you can see on the main page. You can also earn a small amount of t from Tomo's Trivia Tablet, and from bonding with Familiars, every day.
On the forums you can also get t by doing things for other players. Artists can take commissions for treasure or gems, for example. Your Flight might have a thread for selling trained fodder to other players, too.

It's awesome to see fellow Flight Rising enthusiasts here. When it comes to making money in the game, there are a few strategies you can try. Breeding and selling dragons with rare or desirable traits can be quite profitable. Participating in events and contests can also earn you treasure and gems. And don't forget to explore the Auction House for potential deals! Oh, and speaking of games, I recently stumbled upon some real money games for cash apps. They're a fun way to enjoy gaming while having a chance to earn some real cash.

...going to directly contradict the user above me because uh, no??? You don't make money from selling dragons, 90% of the time, and events here don't directly award t/g unless it's player-run on the forums! (Selling the things you get from events can work though!)
I like Paladingineer's guide for money-making, though it's a touch out of date atm (Arlo is the only thing it's really missing, though)
