I only have one level 25 dragon that I got for free as a gift or in a raffle or something, I don't have enough apparel to outfit my dragons, and I don't have a lot of money. I took a few hiatuses, the last of which lasted years, and now I'm back, feeling like a baby all over again, picking up the pieces of my account and wondering [i]what was I trying to do here?[/i] Turns out, what I was trying to do kind of sucked. I had about 500kt and 150g saved up, a lair of naked and kind of ugly dragons, and my lore was... Not half-baked, more like it was never put in the oven in the first place. Yuck. So I got to work, spending hours rereading guides, learning about the new stuff that's been added (loving the auction house!!), and spending loads of money on apparel (oops) and expensive battle stones (not eliminate though, I didn't need another one yet). Eventually I realized that tincturing my freebie level 25 and rebuilding it into a Mire Flier was the best course of action, and since then I've been mindlessly sniping and exalting fodder. When the cheap fodder runs dry, I work on training some dragons to farm loot in the future. [size=2]I've also been grinding out Baldwin in the background but that's not noteworthy[/size] I realized I was quickly getting bored of my new daily routine. I joined my Flight's Discord and that's helped to keep me stimulated, but I wanted something [i]more.[/i] I wanted something to work towards, something bigger than "wait for my fodder eggs to hatch and grow so I can sacrifice them to Ice Daddy." How about a breeding project? I've never done a breeding project before. To be honest, I haven't used my nests much because I never had a decent breeding pair. But I have a guide, a dream, and a very rich Deity, so I'm finally taking on the challenge! [rule] [center][size=4][b]What's The Plan?[/b][/size][/center] I love my Flight. I keep seeing ice XXYs and XXXs on the AH, and while the popularity of what I wanted to make had me doubtful if I would succeed in selling hatchlings, I pushed the doubts away with "IT'S PRETTY AND I WANT IT." I'm doing this for me!! Selling hatchlings is just a bonus!! SO. The plan. It was a pain in the butt to make all these cards, and I know I forgot Kiril's name, and I know that it shows hatchling icons even though they're gonna grow up eventually, but I am not making them a second time because I am TIRED and I need a nap. I'm thinking the offspring of the first and fourth pair will breed, and the offspring of the second and third pair will breed. This should make it so that my final breeding pair, the one that will give me my dream baby, will be two Tundras with constellation, and the majority of hatchlings will have leopard and lace. I hope. Right now though, all I can do is wait for the breeding cooldowns to finish... I'll update when they're all in the nest!

Flurrid and Frostwave are siblings, and for some reason I didn't realize until today. This is my first breeding project, so cut me some slack before you judge me ;-; I scoured the AH for a replacement for Frostwave. Frostwave was actually going to create a Fae problem later down the line: if I had continued with my plan (just ignore that the inbreeding wouldn't have allowed this at all) then there would be a likely chance that my final pair would have been a Fae and a Tundra. 50% odds are acceptable but really not ideal, so I'm happy to replace Frostwave with a rarer breed. I'm lucky to have found him, his primary and tertiary are close enough to the goal that a few generations down the line I'll still be very likely to have Ice/X/Ice. His secondary is also close enough that I'm fairly confident in my chances of narrowing the range down to Sky. I realized that I put in two Smokes instead of Smoke and Lace, so that was a good enough excuse to remake the card with Cloudfall and Chrono. While I wait for all these pairs to give me usable offspring, I think I'll work more on the coli. I'm close to getting two of my dragons to level 25, and those two will be able to farm for loot just about anywhere. I still need two more though, I think. I'd like another fighter and a mage.
