once it gets down to a thousand i store back up to 2k

I get up to like 500 pts for all except plants
But I let it get down to zero before coli grinding/gathering food.

Regarding forum games, please only select dragons who have familiars - those are the permanent residents of my lair. Feel free to look through the hibernal den, too
I keep each type over 100,000. My highest is 137,226 plant. My lowest is 105,755 meat. I may overprepare.

ive got about 20k in each but since i only really feed the trainers/fodder breeders it doesnt go down that much. i probably only convert my food once every year. the rest i just donate or sell on AH. and yes i try to keep it even but some dragons dont like to eat their veggies smh

At least 2k each. And hoard food until I have a stack until I start converting it. So far have been maintaining it nicely

I'm really surprised with the number of people who don't feed their dragons :0
I would imagine y'all would miss the extra gathering turns, but obviously there's no wrong way to play. I'm also wayyy too much of a softie/sentimental guy, so I feel bad for not feeding them.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes tounnecessarily hoard food points though!

I usually stock up to get 10k in each category, i do that when i go down to below 1000. Having lots of fodder in my lair leads to lot of food eaten :D

I convert to roughly 10-12k food points, then let that slowly tick down to under 1k, then I convert again. I only convert the food I have multiple stacks of, usually Mire or Kelp Beds food. I also never convert the food received from the quarterly XP events (Drakeharvest, Springswarm, etc.) and I don't know why.
