How do you link an image to a URL? I'm trying to make a hatchery and do all the art by myself since I can't rlly afford most artists I've found, but I can't seem to make the picture link to a URL. I'm trying to use Imgur and *******.com like I've been suggested, but I can't figure out how to make it work

@sunsetrising

Replace all caps with the correct links and the image should link to wherever you wanted it to go to ^^

@jazzghost okay, but (and I'm on a computer here) how would I get a URL link to an image? I scoured the internet but couldn't find anything that didn't need an account, and since I made it in photoshop I dont have the option to save it as an URL, and I tried going through email to save it as one, but nothing I did worked

@SunsetRising You will have to upload it to an image hosting site. You can use Imgbb, which does not require an account to upload images.

@SunsetRising you have to upload the image file somewhere on the internet for it to have a URL, and usually you will have to have an account for that if you want to avoid it being randomly deleted after a while. if you have Discord, you can make a private server for image-hosting purposes. Tumblr and Imgur are also good free options. Imgur i believe also has a way to upload without making an account, but if you do that, then you won't be able to remove or edit it and you run the risk of it being removed without your knowing.

Right click, select copy image address, or copy link address. Then, to paste it in a post like this one, select the "tree" icon and paste in that box for images. For a link,, select the "chain" icon and paste into that box.
:::edit::: from there, you can paste the same link into a text area, and look for the differences to see what code boxes are on either side.
When I upload an image on imgur, my right click option is Copy Image Address (which I then paste in the tree icon box). See images below.

@SunsetRising - I am glad I was able to help. I had a LOT of trouble figuring it out myself, and I'm tech savvy. I actually worked in tech support for years. So, yeah, I felt like an idiot that I didn't know how to do something that shouldn't be so difficult. One issue was, the little boxes of code I know, didn't all work on here, so that threw me off thinking they used some alternative code. Nope.
:)
