oh I didn't mean it as a direct translation, I just meant it as a pun. I am very aware of the etymology of gala and I know that 'gala' and 'gelu' don't actually share roots in such a way, I was just going for a subtle connection of a pun, although Undel did just lowkey confirm that most likely wasn't intentional. Another funny coincidence is the fact that "gaol" and "gala" are really similar. See what I mean?
Also gelu can certainly mean ice unless I am unnecessarily pointing this out to you because I misunderstood the first sentence
