Okay, alright I know that this is super minor, BUT, it totally threw me off when I was reading the new lore. Which I absolutely love by the way.
So the little poem at the end of the lore? Stunning! Except for that last line.
It's so GOOD, it makes me think of old rhymes about the Fae (real life fae not fr fae) but the one thing I think would make it better is if the last line carried the rhyme too.

My change?

It just flows a lot better than the harsh drop off, I know this probably seems really silly, but I just love our new breed so much.

Support. It just sounds better.

Hmm, I don't really support this. I like the A/A/B rhyme scheme. Did you try reading the suggested version aloud? That extra word changes the meter substantially and makes the flow (at least for me!) much more unappealing.

I have! A few times actually, with different intonation and flow. And none of the times or ways I tried it did it sound as appealing or flowing as my suggestion did. Which is why I felt it mattered enough that I made the suggestion. ^u^;;

I agree with @/BananicornKate, sounds like I could hear kids chanting this or something on the playground. The original is fine but it feels like it is missing the 'away' at the end. So, support!
