I keep getting this awful ad in the lower ad bar that is of a [b]rotting/diseased/infected arm[/b] (elbow?) that consists of the the disturbing image with a "sponsored by Smith + Nephew" in text next to it...

I couldn't catch it with a screenshot in time before it changed (and I'm on mobile, so I wouldn't have been able to grab the source) but I just came across a pro-life ad. If anyone could be on the lookout for this ad and help report it I'd super appreciate it! ;v; I'll try to update this comment or make a new one if i manage to come across it again on mobile or desktop

On a related sidenote, I also get politically charged ads for politicians specifically in my state (USA), so it could be possible it's location related, though I don't remember if the one mentioned above said if it was a state-related campaign or not.

Hello! Here to report an intrusive McDonald's ad I've gotten twice now. I only managed to grab screenshots of it the second time, though.
Both times have been on Chrome, on Windows.
Inspection code screenshots:

First, it pops out images of drinks on the sides of the screen. (Only got the screenshot as they were disappearing again, my apologies)

Then, it pops up a larger banner that covers a good third of the lower screen:

And when you click the little "v" to diminish the size, it's still out-of-bounds for the lower ad banner, and will follow the bottom of your screen, even if you scroll away.

In addition, I'm not even sure it's tied to the lower ad banner, as the first time I found it, when I closed it completely, there was a normal ad in the lower banner already that seemed to have been covered up by the intrusive one.

I don’t know how or why I keep seeing political ads on FR but I don’t feel they have any place here since politics are not generally allowed in FR forums or discussion. I’m not sure if there is a way to remove them but I highly recommend trying to find a way to deal with this, if possible, as they are a disruption and highly controversial/offensive to many people here. (Especially the lgbt+ community as it negatively targets trans individuals)
