TOPIC | What made you buy apparel slots?
I'm finally getting better at making nice outfits, and I tend to put a lot on when I do, and honestly, the Dressing Room makes it way to easy to make outfits which nearly fill apparel slots sooooo....
Also, sometimes someone just wants to be drowned in apparel.

8-10 pieces of apparel is enough for me on most dragons, I don't need them to be totally covered.
However, I want to max out my slots solely to pile more clothes on this guy, because it's funny. You can technically see everything he's wearing if you know what to look for- he has 17 pieces of apparel and a fairly large accent.

I bought more when I realized unlocking them on one dragon unlocked them on all dragons.

I actually wasn't planning on doing so originally, but I ended up doing it out of shyness, in a way.
I bought off the AH a gorgeous dragon I wanted to spoil badly, and before I realized I had slapped on her more apparel than I should have been allowed to. It was apparently part of some known bug that would leave the slots unlocked for a dragon if its owner had payed for them (I'm not sure about the details though)
Turns out once you had put more apparel than your account could handle, you could not remove or rearrange it, and after a while I got tired of her outfit.
Searching through the help forums I found two possible solutions: the sensible one, that included contacting support to have the apparel sent back to my hoard, and the path my shy mind thought was best: buy enough apparel slots to match those of the dragon, without the need to say anything.
I don't regret buying those now, though. I ended up kind of liking playing dragon dress-up.

I'm pretty sure I started buying slots when I realized my former Nature rep needed more...nature.
She was basically a walking habitat.
