Spinny flight, good for accents. Pretty.
I just don't like that most of the body is kind of hidden so they aren't great for showing off primary genes.

She's crashing face-first into the ground. The natural conclusion to such a massive dragon trying to fly with such puny wings.

[center]ive always seen it as a top view, as if they're turning mid-air

My thoughts too.
I like the dynamic pose and being able to see the backs of the wings. I for sure like it 10 times more than I do the male pose

I think the main problem is that people try to dress them like they do other breeds (which, half the time, seem too busy for me anyway, but that's just my opinion)
Less/smaller apparel paired with accents or busier secondaries seem to work better for Imp girls in my experience
Something like this?

Aw, she's lovely @Cruelty.
My female imp, Ivy, loves swishing around wearing her favourite kelpie mane. When you get a drop like that it's worth every second in the mire.
And yes, some of the very best accents around are for female imps.

This just ruined bee on female imp for me D:
I don't have that many myself anyway. Two I believe. Used to love them when I first started, but ?? since gravitated more toward female PCs. My favorites will always be male coatls though.

*Glances as 15 or so female imps*
Seeing as I have 27 permanent (for the moment) Imps in my lair, the most of any breed, and 15 of those are female...
Yeah, I like the pose. It's different and pretty to me and regal looking/graceful. I like their look. Some of my most beautiful dragons are female imps.

I have 25 female imps at a quick count lol. Clearly I really like the pose!
One thing I've noticed is you get a really fascinating gradient change between female and Male imperials I the same color.
Like on Boehmeria...

And her son who has the EXACT same colors and genes as her

The female pose shows off more of the bluish end of the royal iridescent while the Male pose is more purplish. A lot of iridescent colors are like this and I usually prefer them on the female imperials because of it.
