I've been saying "Coatls" all these years, but Tomo had a question just now about what kind of gene Vipera is, and one of the options was "a gene only equippable by Coatl." This suggested that the plural of Coatl is simply Coatl, and so I checked the encyclopedia... Yup. They're like deer.
This is so weird. I can't unsee it

I use all the breed names as an adjective, not as a noun.
Imperial dragon for singular and Imperial dragons for plural.

That makes perfect sense actually. Mirror dragons flows better than mirrors dragons, it's more grammatically correct. Though it is nice to just shorten it into 'mirrors'.
Coatl as a plural does make sense because it just doesn't roll off the tongue to say coatls. Coatli? Coatlos... Idk.. Coatl is probably the best plural. I guess this dragon joins the ranks of other weird hard to distinguish English words like moose and meese

Coatl is a (shortened) Aztec word, from "Quetzalcoatl", one of their gods... so it makes sense it doesn't perfectly follow English's rules.

Wonders how everyone pronounces "Coatl"
Co-at-l or Coat-l?
Curious as both my daughter and I say it differently lol

It's basically how they pronounce Quetzacoatl though, in my head at least, the "coatl" in Quetzacoatl is pronounced a little quicker than the "Coatl" of the dragon. They are pronounced almost the same, for me.
