The change may be physically small, but a lot of people do indeed notice that the art looks a bit odd now if the size of this thread is any indication. I completely understand that some folks aren’t affected by this change, but some people create dragons specifically to have matching eyes or something of the sort, and slight tints can shift the color palette enough that it’s jarring for some users. And when you’ve put hours and hours and possibly money into making the perfect dragon, that can really feel wrong.

That’s why I created this thread: so that people who find the new art really jarring can commiserate and share their experiences.

[font=calibri]honestly, the update wasn't [i]that[/i] bad in my opinion, but total agreement with shadow and light eyes. i don't have many shadow dragons so i won't really suffer there too much but seeing other people have their dragons ruined by what was a major colour change rather than a brightness or slight shade change is pretty horrible. light eyes were another one that got decimated. here's my pretty boy before the update with pale yellow eyes that deliciously match his ghost colour: [img]https://s22.postimg.cc/yeawvtl1d/40525112_350.png[/img] [img]http://flightrising.com/dgen/preview/dragon?age=1&body=122&bodygene=17&breed=7&element=8&eyetype=0&gender=0&tert=43&tertgene=20&winggene=13&wings=75&auth=6d3027dc670b3c845885cbf4f5a838d3f03b8cf7&dummyext=prev.png[/img] now his eyes are confirmed lemons shoved into his eye sockets. to make things worse, i scattered him trying to go for the unusual eye colour since that's at least pale but way too pale now, but now he's got horrible, dark yellow eyes. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=40525112] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/405252/40525112_350.png[/img] [/url] well, at least they aren't lemons anymore i guess. on a positive note, i love what they did with imperial eyes, they look pretty amazing being slightly bigger and pupilless. i love the soulless look?? maybe that's just cause all of my dragons are baddies and probably are soulless. and the new brighter lightning eyes are great! however, if the staff decide to change back to the original colours i wouldn't mind, and probably would prefer it because the light, shadow, and in some case wind eyes are a little too different.

TBH I’m having some trouble accepting Earth’s primal eye infection too

Not only because the color changed to obnoxious highlighter yellow, but because fae eyes are now glazed over and dead.

I was fine with most of my dragons... until I saw what the update did to my Nocturne, Henry (who is a fandragon) [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/411593/41159251_350.png[/img] He looks HORRIBLE!!!
