Hello! This thread is for my Pinkerton’s exploits as he attempts to lead The Kingdom of Fearghus’ Blue Lions for victory!
SPOILER WARNING!
The Challenge will cover the events of Fire Emblem Three Houses Azure Moon Route. I will also make occasional references to Support conversations. If you have a Switch play Fire Emblem Three Houses, it is a good game.
This is a modified Fire Emblem Iron Run Challenge inspired by Flight Rising’s own RNG-based Pinkerlocke challenge. The rules are as such:
1. Play on Classic Mode
2. No resetting! Death is permanent!
3. If the whole army falls during a battle the run is over.
4. No New Game Plus allowed! Everything is set to Square 1!
5. A unit’s class is determined by RNG, after the 1st promotion into Soldier, myrridean, Fighter, or monk the pool of succeeding classes is limited by classes that share attributes with the preceding class (myrrideans can be promoted into a thief or mercenary as determined by RNG but not into a priest.).
6. units are to be promoted when they learn a class’s special skill.
7. The pool of students, teachers, and other recruitable units has been limited by RNG. If they roll a 1 they can be recruited but if they roll 1 2 they must be ignored.
8. The units used for a given battle will be determined by RNG unless they are Pinkerton, Dimitri, or another unit that is required for a battle.
9. Pinkerton’s classes will be determined largely by whatever skills are needed to recruit the allowed students.
Note: Other Iron Runs disallow the use of the Time-Travelling Divine Pulse but because the mock battle revealed how much I suck I will allow its use. Again, I am NOT that good at Fire Emblem so we should still see some deaths. The difficulty of this run is Normal.

Month 1: Great Tree Moon: What do you mean I’m a professor I don’t even know how to smile.
Pinkerton’s Journey begins with a dream. A dream of a great battle between a grumpy grandpa with a bone sword and a VERY ANGRY KAREN. We watch Karen stab grandpa to death and then cuddle with his sword like a weirdo. We get interrupted by a Precocious Waif who demands our name and gender. Fine then. Our name in Pinkerton (Pinkert due to character limitations) and we are playing as a dude. Because Pinkerton is a boy.
We wake up and after a brief conversation with Our crusty dad Jeralt, we get accosted by three children wearing Primary colors. They’re students being chased by bandits! Oh dear. Luckily we are a very cool Mercenary and the students are very buff so we defeat the bandits with aplomb. Right when the leader of the bandits is struck down he reveals himself to not be dead yet and attacks the red colored one. We jump in the way and die.
THE END
Wait… the cutscene is still going. The Precocious Waif is back and she’s yelling at us for being stupid. Luckily she’s able to stop time. Unfortunately, we will die as soon as time starts up again. However, she is also able to rewind time so we ask her to please do that. She obliges and also informs us that her name is Sothis. That’s cool. Time rewinds and we are able to save the Red One without dying.
After the battle, a group called the Knights of Seiros arrive to help save the students. When they discover that we have already killed everyone they become so impressed that they kidnap us and insist we come back to the Monastery/School called Garrech Mach. Since we have nothing better to do we acquaint ourselves with the primary colors gang. It turns out that they are the heirs to the three great nations of the continent and they all want us to work for them. They are in Order:
Edelgard (The Red One): She is a refined young woman that is always evaluating us.
Claude (The Yellow One): His easy smile is striking, but the smile doesn’t reach his eyes. (also. Hot.)
Dimitri (The Blue One): He seems quite sincere but we sense darkness lurking beneath.
Pinkerton likes darkness. So we ingratiate ourselves with Dimitri. We also like his hair which is quite impossible. When we reach Garrach Mach we are taken to see the head honcho. She looks a lot like the Karen in our dream so we shall call her that from now on. Karen likes the cut of our jib so she makes us the new professor. We tell her that we have literally no qualifications but Karen replies that we have the best qualification of all. Nepotism. There is no way we could respond to that so we take the position.
Because we have Nepotism we are allowed to pick whatever class we want. We decide to pick Dimitri’s Blue Lion class so that we can continue to be Very Best Freinds Forever. We meet the rest of the students who are all subjects of the Royal Kingdom of Ferghas. Except for Mercedes, She’s from the Empire but is in the Kingdom as a Political Refugee or something. Before we can even plan a single lesson for the year we are thrown into a Mock Battle. RNG picks Felix, Ashe, and Sylvain for the battle. As we fight both Ashe and Sylvain fall in battle but luckily it didn’t count. We do end up winning the fight and we end the month by having a potluck.
Other notable things this month: We had dinner with Annette and Ingrid. It was nice.
MVP’s this Month: Pinkert and Felix
