The Quest for a 50 Gen Naomi!
Legacy of War Challenge!
Legacy of War Challenge!
Introduction
Hello and Welcome to my thread hosting my insane fever dream of a challenge! Here I will be attempting to create a 50th gen Naomi Descendant at least with the possibility of continuing to the final goal of a 100 gen Naomi Descendant if everything goes as planned. To make this project a little more interesting, I will be adopting the Legacy of War challenge ruleset to determine my heir for each generation. I will also be setting mini goals for each 10 multiple Naomi descendant. There will also be many dragon babies and even heirs available for adoption during the course of the challenge!
Who and What is a Naomi?
Naomi is a User (and progen) that became the focal point of a series of major glitches in 2016. The cause of these glitches is generally unknown. Naomi had one surviving (read: unexalted) daughter from whom all Naomi Descendants are derived from today. Some users like myself like to collect Naomi Descendants as a piece of FR history or as a fun way to come up with special lore. If you'd like to know more please check out this thread by the user blandmelons here.

1. Begin with your founder -- a triple-Basic dragon with a plentiful breed (Fae, Guardian, Mirror, or Tundra). The other challenges recommend buying or hatching a G1, but you could be lazy like me and buy the cheapest triple-basic plentiful dragon on the Auction House.
2. Buy the founder a mate. The only rules here is that they must be breedable with the founder.
3. When they're both RTB, breed them. Only their first nest for any given breeding counts for this challenge, but don't worry if you get one-egged. In a way, you're considered lucky for that....
4a. If you had a one-egg nest, then congratulations! That hatchling is your heir by default, and there will be no bloodshed in this generation. However, if you had two to five eggs, they must battle for dominance in the Coliseum until only one is left standing.
4b. In cases where the nest has more than three eggs the hatchlings can be split into two different groups, the winner of those two different groups will then face each other to determine the final heir.
5. Once your heir has been selected (or defaulted to), buy them a mate.
6. Continue until thetenth fiftieth generation's nest has hatched. The final survivor will be the winning dragon!

Custom Rules!
Basic Breeds Only!: This is mostly to save time, even with the minimal breeding cooldown of 15 days I fully expect this challenge to last longer than 2 years, not counting any hiatuses or Real life circumstances. Therefore for the sake of practicality only Basic breeds will be chosen as breeding partners.
The Chosen One: Any hatchling that inherites a gem gene or is born with special eyes gets chosen as the heir automatically.
Alphabetic Naming: This is mostly so I don't repeat names (if you adopt a hatchling feel free to change it to whatever).
Mini Goals: For each ten generations I will try to aim for specific colors and genes for breeding. Each goal will be on a different shade in the color wheel. It's ok if I don't meet the exact goal this is mostly to give my lineage some focus.
No more Naomi's: For the sake of clairity and bio space I will try to avoid putting more Naomi descendants in the line.
