[/url] actual headcanon: I like to think of it as this sort of toxic goop someone can spit at their opponent. specifically for pearlcatchers, i see it as a stronger (binding?) agent than their saliva they could use for their pearls.

Most of the time, I imagine it as a thin layer of scales surrounding the dragon's belly, some scales a transparent and others filled with liquid, some having both, and being able to transport liquid to other scales.

Sometimes it can just be a normal two-toned underbelly.

But it can also be a dragon's belly filled with liquid. I dunno how though.

I don't actually have anyone with capsul, buuuuuttt:

Faes carry around an extra store of nectar to build nests riiighhtt? Welp, some faes just happen to have invisible bellies, too.

(I just figure everyone else has a liquid form of magic in the pocket between skin and intestines, and they just absorb it when nessesary.)

Dragons don't have intestines, they're made of magic water. Capsule is when that magic water shows.

Inka, another dragon (but without capsule) can produce black and navy ink, but Boppy is the only one in the clan who can produce red ink. No one knows how Boppy got Capsule except Boppy himself, and he refuses to talk about it to even his partner. Inka's ink kind of makes sense, since he was created from ink himself and has simply been enchanted to take a dragon's form. But the circumstances around Boppy's ink capsule remain a mystery to this day.

this thread made me like capsule
