These two twins were a breeding project, and I think Contour looks great on them!
And while he's not an XXY, my random progen looks pretty good with Contour in my opinion.

Most genes labeled 'unpopular' are usually the ones that have a lack of working dragons with it. Contour is really pretty in my opinion.

I love it, though I never get to use it enough. I do have a few breeding projects for it in the future though. Unlike everyone elseI love when the contour color is in high contrast with the other two colors.

I like it quite a bit , one of my top 5 tert genes
so I feel it is subtle but still visible so its better than spines.
it also spreads over the whole dragon so it can be used on a tert that is very odd because it will still balance out the colors. and it can help balance out accent colors especially for like poison and toxin.
lastly I like genes with odd quirks , like the fact it colors the bottom of the feet..hehe

I think Contour is a very nice gene. Sure, there are better Tertiaries, but IMO more dragons can pull off Contour than Thylacine. Thylacine is the usually-ugly one.

I don't mind Contour but it really depends on the dragon. Some it looks beautiful on, others it ruins the dragon. It all depends on how well the tertiary color works with the primary and secondary.
