The neck area is actually what throws the gene off the most for me, which you changed in your version.

I personally like the "wrong" version better. They probably consciously switched it because they thought it was more appealing in all the colors this way.

I can understand the artistic changes to the legs, but not the head. I don't know why it's on the neck only and the face is bare. It doesn't look right.

I kinda like the neck part. Though the whole gene needs a really specific color combo to work imo.
