woosh
The water peacefully lapped at the young snapper’s toes, making her giggle. Her parents didn’t want her anymore and chucked her onto a beach hoping that the Tidelord would claim her.
WOOOOOOOSH
A huge wave swept the hatchling away,under the sea.Can’t breath...can’t see...can’t think...
As her life floated away, she drifted deeper and deeper under the waves.
She opened her mouth to breath in,but forgot she was miles under the surface. She died.Or was she?A water imperial placed her on his arcane primal nose, and cast a spell. From now on,she could breath under water and was raised by this kind dragon.

Next up is Spellwing!

@QuirkyJunimo Spellwing's parent was buried under the earth, but he wasn't. And listening to his mom drone on about geology and cave systems may have made him reluctant to study anything related to being underground. What he wants to do is study space. Planets and stars, meteors- everything above the ground! One day, he wants to soar to the stars and not set a talon on Sornieth again. -------------------- lore this man

@OtakuTrash Domencio was meant to be a dragon of the sea. He was supposed to live out his days frolicking on the beach and fishing and making sandcastles, just like everyone else in his village. He was supposed to love the beach life, and lazing around all day, and doing nothing all day. Everyone else did. His parents, his sisters, everyone else in the village. But he didn't, He wanted to explore the mountains that could just barely be seen off the island's coasts. He wanted to feel the dirt and see any tree other than a palm. He wanted to see things he had only heard about in stories, the ones that were supposed to scare him but didn't. Like bears and lions and rams. He was especially hopeful about the rams. He wanted nothing more than to see what snow would feel like, or to know if the stars were different out there. But nobody would ever let him go. Unless he ran away, but that was ridiculous... right? Next: Lore up my boi Champagne

@AmbientMage Looking at Champagne and his list of children I’m thinking he’s a Bacchus type. Coming from a small clan in the murky forests of the Tangled Wood Champagne, yet to be named, was an oddity. It seemed everywhere he went the dark forests grew a little brighter, flowers bloomed, and even the disposition of some dragons suddenly became cheerier. He understood this mechanic of his life very little, but as he grew up these powers began to affect others in higher proportion, until greenery followed his every wing beat and footstep and the drinks and food flowed around him, a constant party for the dragons he passed by. Soon he amassed a small following because of the intoxicating joy his power brought. Unfortunately for some this power would be their downfall, the intoxication of Champagne’s power becoming too much to withstand physically. Realizing this, he fled to the Starfall Isles where it seemed many were resistant to his powers. Despite being named by his followers, he continued to answer to Champagne even in the Starfall Isles. @dinomilkshakes Yaeshon parents didn't mean to have him, so they left him when he was a hatchling, hoping he'd meet a quick, clean death. He didn't, however, and was taken in by Oceansong. He still resents them for this, despite some dragons telling him to "be grateful because he found a good life here" he always retorts with "that doesn't mean I have to thank my parents for abandoning me". (based off the scry in his bio) He's trying to learn how to create a breed change scroll, adding magic to alchemy in combinations that have proved volatile. He doesn't want to look anything like his parents, so he wants to become an entirely different breed. He didn't know what he could do for the clan, but he's been an unofficial apprentice to Oceansong for a while. He carries his alchemical supplies with him everywhere and is always trying new things, from picking up random things off the ground and seeing how they react to making small explosions for fun. ----- I could use some lore for my obelisk (and a name tbh)! It doesn't have to relate to the actual statue lore if you don't want it to.

@Bibbit Golar is a personal mercenary for the Icewarden, blessed with the gift of primal eyes. He is rough and battle scared, but he is actually a pretty sweet dragon. Though he doesn't let that side of him show to his boss. He has been trying to get away for awhile now as the pressure of his job is weighing on him. He feels as though the souls of those he has slain are haunting him, and he wants to bring them to peace. @Bibbit Golar was seen as the kind of dragon you’d tell your hatchlings about to make sure they didn’t do anything dangerous. ‘Oh, if you go play in the wandering contagion, Golar will get you’, and the like. The skull on his head was said to have come from a dragon named Scavenger (an unfortunate portmanteau of ‘scar’ and ‘avenger’, not the word itself), the last dragon to try and take Golar down. This was, of course, a load of nonsense. Sure, he was big, and scary, and wore the scraps of his kills as nothing more than a fashion statement, but he only ever fought in self-defense. He was, in fact, a huge softie. Nobody really cared, though, because when they looked at him, all they saw was the boogeyman. Until, one day, one hatchling got too close. ——— Next person: One or both of the Star twins! All I have for them right now is that they are, in fact, twins. I’ll do lore for you too, so you don’t get skipped, gimme a sec.

Kaede could hear the rhythm of the world. It had a heartbeat, a ticking, of sorts. Every wave rolling in, every gust of wind, every strike of lightning followed this rhythm. It resonated in the ebb and flow of a Guardian’s calling, and it twisted and knotted itself into the body of every spiral. The rhythm was everywhere. And Kaede could hear it.

The petals falling around him went tick. The whistle of the kettle boiling his tea went tock. There were only two things in whole world that could distract him from the cacophony of the rhythm. One was tea. The other scuttled up behind him, making a sound that mildly defied the fabric of reality.

His time devourer smiled, as much as an animate clock was capable of doing so, happy that it was able to soothe the rhythm in Kaede’s head.
