Day Four
Seven dragons, their numbers having not been decreased by the lack of action among their prey, planned more deaths to follow those that happened yesterday. They chose their targets carefully and then sent off two dragons to do the deed.
The first dragon knew of their targets nature, and made sure they were prepared before approaching the defiant dragon. Redmoon had stayed up late that night, hoping to protect herself against any attackers, but her killer approached slowly and silently, relying on the Wildclaw's lack of sight to mask their presence. Suddenly, a knife drove through Redmoon's back, piercing her heart, and she let out a surprised gasp before collapsing in a pool of her own blood. No dragon was close enough to hear the small amount of sound she had made.
Another dragon set off in search of the second target, but they were nowhere to be found. The dragon was unable to eliminate their target by sunrise.
Viscera woke up that morning and immediately searched the rooms for corpses, knowing that more demons had definitely died that night. She was angry with the group of initiates for not doing anything to stop the angels that plagued their group. As expected, she found the body of Redmoon and called out to report the death.
"Redmoon has died," she stated, "As I said, you would regret not taking action against the angels yesterday," she chastised the group, "This is what happens."
"You are all to blame for Redmoon's death," she proclaimed, "Do not disappoint me today."
"Lilith is bringing things to tide you over before initiation truly begins," She added, "Though at this rate, that may not even happen."
Lilith entered the warehouse later that morning, covered in splatters of blood and sporting new, pearlescent trinkets. She held another cage in her clutch, one that was significantly smaller than the one from the day before. It held something feathered and green.
"Good morning," she sang, "Look at my new jewelry!" she gestured to the new apparel she was wearing, "I borrowed it from this thing's mother." she chirped delightfully, pointing to the form in the cage.
"Oh, right!" she giggled, setting down the cage in front of the initiates, "You seemed to like my gift yesterday, so I've brought another!"
A hatchling purred peacefully in the cage, seeming to have been coaxed to sleep by Lilith's charming powers. He had a calm expression on his face despite the fact that Lilith had just murdered his parents and kidnapped him for evil deeds.
"Here you go, another plaything," she crooned, "Have fun with him!"
"Maybe you could sacrifice him to the Red, or..." she paused, thinking, "Enslave him as a ghoul for eternity!" she giggled.
"I'm so jealous," she wailed, "You get to make the decision..."
Sacrifice him
or
Enslave him?
