THE LOVE CLUB

The Love Club is a large settlement of dragons near the coast on the border of the Hewn City, neighboring the Beacon of the Radiant Eye. The territory of the colossal clan takes up several crumbling, but large, buildings. Over time the clan has attempted to renovate or reconstruct these structures and continue to try and improve them. The clan often makes use of rubble and crumbled stone by fixing them into containers, appliances, tables, and chairs. Each building has a name and a layout that suits its uses for the clan. The buildings that dwell outside of the Hewn City appear to be in remarkable condition compared to the ones that dwell within the city's borders, being largely intact and decorative, while the few buildings that are shrouded by mist are much more run down and ruined, but still formidable shelter. Most of the clan lives inside of the newer buildings, although a few factions have chosen to remain in the Hewn City. There is a designated leader for each faction, in charge of maintaining peace and wellness for those that dwell inside of the group. Some of the clan's factions are largely estranged from the rest of the clan members--this either being by choice, communication-related issues, or being made up of groups of dragons that have been exiled from the clan. |

Current Event
Clan Taboo
As many communities do, the Love Club has it's own routines, regulations, stereotypes and personal beliefs that can effect how clan members may act towards others. Some of these taboos may seem far-fetched or fairly common/understandable.
Coatl Plumage
Given that the clan is largely populated with coatl dragons, and was actually founded by quite a few coatl dragons, one would assume that the coatl plumage color ideal would surround the clan, but that's not so. This is because some of the most respectable and powerful coatl dragons in the clan have faded white or dark plumage, and it is looked down upon to judge one for the color of their natural feathers.
Though this may be the case, some dragons still harbor their own opinions about the matter, mostly other coatl dragons who originated from clans populated with vibrant coatls or coatl dragons who are from the fire flight.
To put any possible concerns about illnesses or bad luck spreading due to fading plumage, clan members are assured that the clan medics are more than capable of making sure any possible spreaders of disease are taken care of accordingly as to not spread the illness.
Mirror Dragons
One of the most problematic taboos from the Love Club is the leader's general disdain or distrust towards Mirror dragons. Only two mirrors legally occupy the clan, and though other mirror dragons have come and gone, the numbers have been very few.
Younger or newer residents of the Love Club might find this confusing or prejudiced, the reason behind this fear-originated stereotype is because in the earliest stages of the clan, one of the clan's progens, along with many others, were slaughtered by a rouge pack of mirrors.
Most dragons in the Love Club don't possess this ideal, but the fact that it exists is very noticeable.
Mateship
Dragons are generally able to freely mate with whoever they wish without discourse in the Love Club. Things like cheating one one's mate or rapidly changing mates is very common in the clan and usually fine with the leaders and rule-makers of the clan unless the dragon's actions result in major turmoil, which can be severely punishable.
Though dragons aren't always expected to keep the same mate for long periods of time or even have a mate at all, dragons who have been mated with another for a long period of time or proclaimed themselves as life-long mates are looked up to by others, and tends to be the ideal relationship for most dragons who are interested in mateship.
