I can use magic, but it wouldn't help much. Though, for Patrol purposes, I could likely do well... These Water dragons seemed quick to absolve themselves of any responsibility if harm came to their employees. He didn't think he trusted that entirely, but then decided it didn't matter. He was a Guardian, a seasoned fighter, and it would be most dishonorable to deny employment because there was a chance of injury. He'd dealt with worse. "Right then, I'll be helping the patrol division. I don't like being mixed up with mages all that much," he decided without much thought. The Ice dragon hesitated once more as he glanced at the papers, but then gave his signature. (Choice B: Help the patrol division)

You'd think she'd be a bit warm already in the warm late-spring sun and her thick fur, but she's still wearing a black velvety cloak. Must be a mage thing. "Oh, oh, scrying!" Bonecaster says, flapping her wings as she looks at the forms. "I love scrying!" Taking a quill in her mouth, she scribbles something that looks vaguely name-like onto one of the forms, and even on the dotted line. "Where should I go to help scrying?" There was something about the long, balmy beaches of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, the glimmering tidal pools, and the clear freshwater shallows casting pearlescent ripples on the ocean floor below that she just couldn't get enough of. There was a drink in her hand, something brightly coloured that the bartender had recommended, and she took short sips from it in between gulps of the fresh sea air as she walked down the beach. Her translation studies could wait - for now, she was on holiday. Amongst the brightly-coloured flags fluttering in the wind, a small hut caught her eye - mostly due to how un-eye-catching it was, if that was a word. The building looked rather drab, its wood panelling bleached by sun and sand - but the sign above it was what intrigued her most. "Help wanted... hmm." She tipped her head in thought, idly slurping her drink. "Well, I suppose I could go in and see what that's all about, couldn't I?" She downed the last of her drink as the Guardian at the post ran her through the job, before casting her eyes over the forms, adjusting her glasses. "Oh - helping the mages, I should think. We've got a scryer back home, actually - so at least I know the basics. Um... did you have a pen, there?" (choice: A - help the mage division! ooh, i'm excited to see how this will play out :Dc )

As a Wildclaw he felt he would be better suited for the Patrol division. He had come here looking for an adventure and getting to move around on patrol seemed more likely to provide some rather than being stuck helping with scrying tasks. So he signed the waiver for the Patrol Division and gave it back to the guardian behind the desk. B: Help the patrol division
